Rapid Fire Observations about non-Jaguar things

I'm not going to talk about the game yet.  But I'm in a footballish mood, so here's some thoughts.

It must really suck to be a New York Giants fan.  I mean, really suck.  My good friend back home lives and dies with em every week and it just kills him to watch this years team.  Is it the GM picking such incombatable players?  Is it Tom Coughlin's abrasiveness?  Is it Tiki's loquacious nature?  Is Jeremy Shockey just a punk from the U?  I think the folks at Pro Football Talk are dead on when they say the team should be demolished and rebuilt.

Good Job Jim on keeping your job.  I'm really looking forward to seeing you next to Mooch on the NFL Network.  (I wonder if Mooch would do well in Atlanta..hmmnn).  Also, Big Cat Country would like to give Ron Mexico props for being the first quarterback to rush for 1000 yards.  It's too bad it couldnt improve their 30% 3rd Down conversion percentage.  Mexico is not going far if his concern is with his stats.  If he says one complimentary thing about that record I might just puke...

The Damn Titans just keep on winning.  Vince had a good looking day.  I'd like to think that next season the AFC South will be the new NFC East.  The division where everyone has a shot.  And yeah, that means I'm the only person in the world who respects the Texans.  They're building a defense down there and they're gonna suprise someone (not Jacksonville, we know how they roll).  Demarco Ryans is one of the top 5 defensive draft picks.

I really don't like Cleveland Browns WR Braylon Edwards.  Mainly because he scores TD's when I bench him, and flops when I start him.  I know you don't care about my fantasy team, but whatever.

I think the Saints are my NFC Pick to go all the way.  I've been saying this amongst friends for a few weeks now, but the more I see of Chicago the less I trust their ablity to counter a motivated NO team.

Speaking of Fantasy football.  I've had LT, boy is that fun.  Is there anyone out there who's not winning their league if they drafted him?  I took him number 3 overall.  

I'm going to* the Chiefs v. Jaguar game next week.  I was a Jaguar season ticket holder for a long time, but this will be the first away game I've ever gone to.  I'm hoping to meet up with some of the folks over at Arrowhead Pride.
