Very suprising
I’m only “watching” it on the NFL gametracker thingie, but the Cowboys seem a bit rattled.
I use to be a Cowboy fan...
go ahead, say it , " Sorry to hear that". Anyway, after they signed T.O.,(firing Tom Landry, setting an NFL record for drug arrests on one team,…..etc.) I couldn’t take it anymore and became a Jaguar fan.
I had to be able to look myself in the mirror and they just weren’t respectable anymore. Maybe that’s partly why I am so hard on Matt Jones.
ANYWAY, I love it when a bad team kicks their ass.

If Bulger hadn't overthrown that pass...
it would be 28-7.

Unless Drew Brees catches fire
All that talk of him breaking the single season yardage mark is going to stop

317.75
Thats the average yards per game you have to throw to equal Marino’s record. No wonder the TD record has been broken twice and no one has come close to breaking the passing mark.

317.75 per game, as an average? Holy crap, that’s impressive. Garrard hasn’t had a single 300 yard game yet.

Source: Jags expect WR Jones to be suspended

The Jaguars’ Matt Jones was accepted into a drug treatment program this week that could erase a felony cocaine charge against him, but the team still expects the NFL to suspend the wide receiver — possibly as early as this week — a source told ESPN senior NFL analyst Chris Mortensen.
The former Razorbacks quarterback must participate in NFL-sponsored substance-abuse counseling and random drug testing through the end of the football season, then return to Fayetteville to complete the intervention program, Judge Mary Ann Gunn said.
The league said in a brief statement this week that Jones’ case was being reviewed and it had no timetable for when its investigation would be complete.
Gunn, who presides over the Washington County Drug Court, said Jones could be bounced from the program if he fails a drug test or misses a counseling session. Jones said in court that he was “very committed” to completing the program and said he had passed random NFL-administered drug tests since his July 10 arrest.
The quarterback-turned-wide receiver stood with his parents in Gunn’s courtroom, which was filled with drug offenders and treatment program graduates. He said he wanted to enter Gunn’s program because “I want to make sure it doesn’t happen again.”
“Then, let’s welcome Matt Jones,” Gunn said, drawing applause from the courtroom.
Typically, the program includes a 9- to 12-month intervention program that includes group therapy and 30 hours of community service.
The 25-year-old Jones made no comment after the hearing. Gunn ordered him to remain in the courtroom for a while to observe as part of his initiation into treatment.
Jones was arrested and charged with one count of cocaine possession on July 10, when a Fayetteville police officer saw him inside a parked car allegedly cutting up cocaine with a Foot Locker credit card. The charge carries a maximum sentence of 10 years in prison and a $10,000 fine.
Jones pleaded not guilty to the charge and had been scheduled to face trial last Friday, but prosecutor John Threet’s office reached an agreement with Jones’ attorney early last week to send the case to drug court.
Jones, a first-round draft pick by the Jaguars in 2005, has been free on bond since his arrest. He played last Sunday in the Jaguars’ victory over the Denver Broncos, catching seven passes for 69 yards.
We need the Bills to win their division...
and they are pullin’ away from the Chargers. GO BILLS. Depending on NE and the Jets this week that could put them up 2 games.

Green Bay
Made the right decision to ditch Favre for Rodgers. Favre might put up more stats or sell more jerseys, but Rodgers is the longterm answer at QB.

We just might...
Face the debut of Brady Quinn with the browns next weekend.!
2nd place!!!!!
And without even moving a finger!!!!
haha thats true..
also in england there has been a team that has been promoted 2x withoutt ever actually having been promoted properly in the last 20 years.
it is because the league has been changed name from division 4.. to division 3 to league 2!
Interesting
You know which club that is that’s been stuck in Fourth Division/Third Division/League Two for twenty years? I am hoping that my Cardiff City boys can get promoted out of the “Cahmpionship.” Gotta love English soccer; the only sport whose organization even comes close to matching the mess that is NCAA football.
Good weekend
San Diego losing to Buffalo
Indy losing to Green Bay
Jets losing to Oakland
Cleveland losing to Washington
all good
The only bad things were Tennessee and Houston
Please...
get us to Sunday. Entering the second week since the last Jags game, im having withdrawls. What a great game last week! Can’t wait til the Browns come to town!!! Go Jags!
