Troy Williamson vs. Brad Chillie Willie
Here's a link to a funny article in the Orlando sentinel about Troy wanting to meet his former coach in the middle of the field. The writer said it would be a "River City Rumble!" Troy goes on to say that he could beat Brad with both hands tied behind his back. I Thought it was entertaining and it made me laugh a little, enjoy.

Funny I guess, but when you’ve only caught four passes for 27 yds should you should keep your mouth shut. Well, at least he seems to have some motivation to play well.
Again? This has got to be the most fragile recieving corps in the league. How do you get hurt with 4 receptions? Has one of our recievers made it through every game?
Reggie Williams has
Porter had the hamstring
Jones had the thigh
Walker had the knee
Northcutt had the mystery deactivation
Williamson had the everything hurts
but Reggie hasn’t missed a game. He hasn’t done anything in any of them but he has been activated for all of them

Northcutt had back problems...
Reggie had knee surgery this year, a clean-up procedure. It’s obviously impacted his play because his numbers are down. He better step up his production if he wants the Jags to exercise the option ability in his contract to change it from a 5 year deal to a 6 year deal. The Jags can effectively void his contract after this season with no financial repercussions, and if he doesn’t step up his production I bet that’s what they do. Unfortunately, I think he’s not 100% even though he’s played every game.
That might be something to think about when we consider giving him up, (Reggie). He may not be doing much buy hey, aside from Matt Jones who is? When you watch Jones Drew sprain his ankle, tape it up, and come back in a play later, or garrard get up hit after hit, it makes you question the toughness of these guys. I know RB’s are a different breed and it’s a rough game, but it’s frustrating to get an injury report every week littered with WR’s who go down from some mysterious tweek in practice.
I guess only he truly knows his limits and if he could play, he would. Sitting out every other game can’t be beneficial to his resume.
I think it would interesting...
to find out what other WR’s were out this year due to injuries, and what those injuries were. Toughness is big when it comes to the WR position. They have to be able to catch, block, and take the hit across the middle. However, toughness is something that can’t be taught. This must be innate, and is a tangible that can’t be accounted for on the scouting report.
Like Vic has told us, it is time to re-evaluate this roster from top to bottom. It is also time to get this WR corp on the field, and have an open competition. This has been a weak spot on our roster since Jimmy left, and it is time to put it all on the line. All the dead wood needs to be cut back, so we can see this postion blossom into the corp that we need it to be.
Injuries are a part of the game, and I can look past that. However, when do we say, “Grow a pair, and Cowboy UP!!!”. We used to be able to say that this team plays with a undeniable toughness which we saw week in/week out. That’s what this team needs to get back to because that is the identity this team is missing.
