[Editorial Note: This was actually written by by patantron31 on Nov 24, 2008 as a comment to a story, however, As I've said, we're in offseason mode here at BCC so any and all scouting reports on players are appreciated. Thanks Patantron31.]

the NFL needs another SMASHER somebody in the secondary that will deliver the BOOM! and be a huge playMAKER!! Trey Young yes Trey Young he has never got a chance in the NFL but all he needs is one chance because he is quiet humble and underrated So type Trey Young in on youtube.com and watch his 2005-2008 video in high quality and youll see why he deserves a chance to play in the NFL! Ok, I watched the video and this kid hits like a freight train

A FREAKING FREIGHT TRAIN!

His speed seems to be good enough, but not great, and I saw where he didn’t wrap up on a couple of tackles, which you have to do in the NFL. He’s a viable SS candidate, Univ. of Montana though, so he’s not facing the most prestigious offenses in the country, but the cat can hit.

Ok, Check that... This guy DID play at Montana, however, he's been in the CFL 4 years now.

Players do make it out of the CFL and into the NFL, but not often. Maybe bring the guy in for a tryout perhaps. Either way, It’s doubtful that he’ll ever get the chance to play in the NFL. I’m gonna leave this fanpost up anyway, even though he’s not a college player anymore to encourage and remind other posters that we NEED scouting reports up!

Yeah the guy seems like he could play

Not a guy I’d want playing center field or trying to cover a good receiving TE like Gates, but for a guy to knock the hell out of a guy over the middle? He would do just fine.

That's pretty much all Reggie Nelson is

He can’t cover well or make reads. All he does is torpedo himself into everyone. Sometimes he bounces off, sometimes he takes them out.

Some great highlights!

Like Vic says, “you find football players where you find football players”. It don’t matter where you come from. I’m not saying let’s sign this guy, but he certainly has some ball hawking skills, and can put something on ya that Ajax won’t take off. Almost reminds me of Ronnie Lott.

The guy hits

wonder if he overpursues often. You’ll miss a lot of tackles going for the big hits every time. That hit on the kickoff return team at the beginning was disgusting.

We need to try him out

Vic if you are reading, put a word in to Jack Del Rio.
