If I was in charge...
I would still pick up Tommy Blake. I don’t know how bad his mental health is though. Anyone wanna tell me? And it looks to me like we still don’t have any new safeties.

Smith is definitely an interesting pickup… and Blake would be too – I’m rather surprised that he slipped all the way through the draft. With his talent, I expected someone to take a late round flyer.
Just looking at their positions, I’d guess Miller and Horrocks (and perhaps Smith) are the most likely to stick – most if not all of the WR/TEs and CBs will be winnowed out in camp, and of course Boston and Myles will be competing with freshly drafted rookies as well as the vets.

Paul Smith
I live in the tulsa area, and have seen paul smith play since he was in high school. He is very smart, and will be a very good back up in the league.

Paul Smith
Keep your eye on this QB. Whether with the Jags or somebody else, Paul Smith will someday come in for an injured starter, and he will never leave the starting lineup again. Even the incredible stats don’t tell the whole story. He played behind a second-rate OL and threw to third-rate receivers, and still kept his team in almost every game. He is a winner, pure and simple. Looking only at numbers, scouts no doubt thought Smith was “too small”. Well, he was consistently hammered in big games, never got injured, and put constant pressure on every defense he faced. Totally different offenses and coordinators his junior and senior years (under center and spread) but exactly the same results. No, I am not a Tulsa fan. I live in Ohio, but I saw Smith play against several teams I follow and I couldn’t believe my eyes each time. He is the real deal.

Hmmnn...
Well, he was consistently hammered in big games,
I don’t know if I like a quarterback with a drinking problem…
