Craphonso Thorpe was signed by the Jaguars to compete for a roster spot. He'll most likely have to make his mark returning punts or kicks, because it looks like the Jaguars aren't gonna let MJD carry that load any longer.

Thorpe is 6'1 187lbs and was active 5 games last season for the Colts. He played his college days at FSU and was drafted in 2005 by the KC Chiefs. He's got some catching up to do since he's missed some OTA's. Like I said though, if he makes the Jags it's going to be on special teams.

He only averaged 5 yards per punt return last year and 21 on kick returns. We'll see if Joe Decamilis can coach him up some.
