Sportsline resets poll due to Cheating!

CBSSportsline has issued a "re-do" on the Fiercest Mascot Voting competition between Jaxson DeVille and the Raider Nation.

This is what they have posted at the current time, and they have not reposted the actuall poll as of 12:30pm EST. :

Note: Since there has been cheating on both sides, we are giving fair warning and another chance to redeem yourselves. The poll has been reset with 24 hours left to submit your votes.

Let's keep this a fun competition.

And that folks is a direct quote. I hope that the Raiders Fans get the message here and that they dont restart this war.

I hope that we will all keep close watch on this and VOTE VOTE VOTE!!!!!

Freek, You're da man Bro!

Way to stay on top of stuff freek, I really appreciate you constantly adding and contributing to the site. You’re opinion on players and the way you keep up with even the most transient info really sets you apart! I know Chris has thanked you before, but I wanted to convey my gratitude as well, cats like yourself are what set this site apart!

p.s. I really think you’re gonna like what Chris and I have planned for the “Dead Zone”, we’ve got some really cool ideas. Other sites may not have new stuff as often during this period, but I assure you that Chris and myself will be posting new info very regularly.

I had the same problem...

While I have no doubt that both sides are guilty in the misuse of the poll, I have a really, really, hard time believing that there are over 200,000 Raiders fans in Australia and the Pacific Rim. Based on the time that the vote total exploded, there’s either a whole lot of insomniacs in the Bay or the Raiders should move to Sidney.

hhmmm i wonder...

I wonder if they determined who began the cheating and then who followed suit to just defend their honor…and are going to declare the correct winner after today since its the cut-off. Id be interested to see that.

Ok Guys I pulled this little excerpt from the Raiders Forum, and I thought that this quote was quite interesting as it admits that the Raider Fans are cheats and degenerates as well as to support Chris’s assertion that there was an Australian Conspiracy to “rock the vote” for the Raiders!

Being a big contributor to this poll, I will admit I got into it probably more than I should have. HOWEVER… I’ve had more fun smacking with the jags than I have with any chiefs/charger/bronco fans in a LOOONG time.
