FREE NFL FIELDPASS!?
Im not sure if the NFL has lost their mind, but for some reason they are giving away a limited number of NFL Field Pass memberships totally FREE.
I signed up and went through the process as if Id paid for it but it never asked for credit card or anything....it even created a reciept for $0.00......maybe everyone who is a "non-local" Jags fan should hit NFL.COM and take advantage of this.

I think...
I think what they’re doing is giving it away during the offseason/preseason, and then will hope to hook you on it so that you buy it during the regular season.
Their wording on the “giveaway” seems to be that of a teaser, rather than something free.
FieldPass is great if you’re out of town though, great stuff!

Not so sure about that...
I took the Free preseason teaser last season, and they were upfront about you getting the preseason games only. Nowhere that I saw was that a part of this deal, and i made an efffort to find it thinking it was the same as last years offering.
In addiotion I looked at the offerings for the regular seasons with my access and they were all there waiting for me to listen…..
Perhaps someone else might be willing to take a look and see what I saw in the signup process and give us a second opinion?

Sirius
Get a sirius and listen in you vehicle if you’re out of town. I went away for xmas last year and the Jags weren’t on TV in NC. I tried to watch the scheduled game on TV and watch for updates, but the neices and nephews were loud, and their parents were equally as annoying. So I slid off to my truck, found the right station, and listened intently to the game. Sirius is great all year, but it really shines when I’m away during the season ;-) just my $3
(.02 cents adjusted for inflation and the declining dollar. All indications are that opinions will be worth $5 by the end of summer)

What does that mean?
Does it mean:
(a) people who have signed up for free will no longer have access after 30 July?
(b) people who sign up after 30 July will have to pay, those who signed up before will still have access?
I’m hoping it’s the latter, obviously :) Either way… I’ve quite enjoyed listening to some of the 2007 Jag games. I’m not sure who that guy is who does the commentary, but he has a great voice – I love the way he gets so excited!
