Jerry Porter's season
Yeah Jerry got an injury, but that doesn't mean he won't have a great season. He was signed so we could get a No. 1 reciver, now people are acting like he won't be productive because of one injury. He has a great offence around him, and one of the best running games in the league to take off the pressure. So how many yards do you think he will get this season?

Porter's yards...
I think he will be hampered slightly in the first game or so. If he even plays right away, I think he’s capable of 700 to 800 this year. We can only hope for more!

Jerry Porter's injury is bad
Make no mistake, hamstring injuries and surgery are no joke. Jerry Porter may be finished as a football player.
Ok
Calm down, he’s not finished forever, he should be down 6-8 weeks and, at worst, will be hampered for a season. It’s not career ending, and it wasn’t complete recontructive surgury, it was just a cleaning job. He had some trouble with it the past few weeks and needed the surgury. We paid him for 6 years for a good reason.
I hope you are right
Football injuries have a way of taking the edge off of players. This is not trivial. Neither is Paytion Mannings surgery.
I hope so too.
This isn’t trivial, but it won’t end his career. I could say the same for Payton Manning. It will hamper them, but it won’t end them or limit them. There both hard workers and can overcome this.
Porter was signed to be THE guy. As long as he can be a difference maker that people have to plan around, I don’t care.

he will.
Oh, I think he will be. Remember the catch he made against Green Bay at Lambeau? Between defenders, one of them Al Harris, he just took it from them. It wasn’t his speed, it was his desire to be the one with that ball. He is not an alligator armed ‘fraidycat’ when it comes to catching the ball.
