Please, no more Favre
Don't get me wrong. I like Brett Favre. He was one of the game's best QB's. I enjoyed watching him play when he seemed to be really having fun. But...

ESPN has some ideas on where he might make a good fit this year if an opportunity arose. Here is the blurb from ESPN.com.
" Jacksonville Jaguars: David Garrard fits the Jaguars' system well and management is committed to him. If he were to suffer an early preseason injury and Favre still had the itch to play, the on-the-verge Jaguars would be a great fit. "
If you'd like to read the whole article, then jump to this spot.
I'd like to hear everyone's opinion on the above situation. Jaguar and any other team's fans thoughts are welcome, of course. Personally, I wouldn't want that situation to occur. I would hope the coaches have the right backup in place if it did. I'm kinda nervous about our backup situation for the moment. I hope and pray that training camp inspires one of them to step wayyyy up to make me feel secure.

Backup QB
Cleo Lemon or Favre…Who do i feel more comfortable IF something like that happend? Favre every single time. I wish that we were stronger at QB but we just aren’t. If Garrard were injured for the season, which hopfully doesn’t happen, I’d be on board.

come on
first off favre would never play in jacksonville…let’s be realistic…secondly, i don’t care who you are if you just signed a qb that didn’t know the system and threw him into the mix he would be terrible…stick to your guns…ill admit that cleo doesn’t exactly make me feel confident in our backup situation but we signed him to a fairly big contract for a reason…put the faith in the coaches because they seem to be doing their homework…

Good point
Isn’t one of the reasons that Favre has been so good that he has been in the same team for sooo many years? Playing for anyone else would actually introduce some problems for him (especially this “late” in the off-season) despite his obvious skills at the position. Lemon might not have been an elite QB last year, but he did OK…. he is struggling to get to grips with the new system. Favre would too, initially.

Too high on Farve.
Not to slight his accomplishments but everyone keeps saying, “Green bay is being stupid, Farve would lead them to a Superbowl win. Aaron Rodgers can’t do it.”
Dude, Brett had 17 years and the only Superbowl win he has came at the hands or should I say feet of Desmond Howard. He needs to be on his lawnmower in South Mississippi.
I remember when Joe Montana left San Fran. Everyone was so,” What are we gonna’ do, Steve Young is a crappy QB we got from Tampa. He can’t win.” Really, well who got a ring after that Joe or Steve? Give Aaron a chance to prove himself. He shredded the Cowboys defense after Farve went out. Oh and watch the tape on Youtube, after the first scoring drive Aaron had, Farve is rolling his eyes and smirking…...what a team player.
