Around SBN: Knicks Beat Lakers With Familiar Strategy

One of the two is proving his worth.

I think I speak for most of the Jaguar nation when I say getting Harvey and then getting Groves too, was an exciting turn of events.  Both of them have extreme potential.  But one of them is in camp and according to JDR is more than living up to the expectations.  At the scrimmage Groves was ferocious.  Thank God they weren't allowed to hit the QBs.  He is ahead of the curve and gaining speed.  Harvey is still in the starting blocks, although he is studying his playbook.  Hopefully,  he will turn out to be worth the wait.  One is trying to get what he thinks he's worth, the other is proving what he is worth with every snap.

Grooves and Harvey

Our defence has the ability to put the pressure on the QB that hasn’t been seen in the Jags defence in years. Let’s see if the line can live up to the hype and expectations.

I’m delighted to hear that Groves is proving to be a nuisance to QBs. I have a “soft-spot” for Groves, although I’m not sure why. I’m pretty sure that Harvey will prove his worth too. This holdout is damn annoying, but he IS a good player and was drafted ahead of Groves for a reason. The two of them together represent the future of the Jag’s defensive line, for me.

it is damn annoying...

has anyone heard anything about where this holdout currently stands? Are they any closer to getting the deal done? If anybody knows how to find the email to the agents working for Harvey let us know so we can bombard them with ‘hurry up hate mail’. This crap sucks.
I could understand if they were talking about the difference in him making $20 an hour and $25. But come on, we’re not talking about whether or not he will be able to pay his light bill. He’s not saving up to one day buy season tickets like us. Is $5 mil. to $10 mil. not enough. GREED IS NOT GOOD.
Dude, if you think living off $10 million is that hard, try working our jobs. We’d take it in a second. Besides if you are as good as they say you are, what are you worried about? You’ll get paid that ‘extra gravy’ in the long run. G E T I N C A M P !
