WR Broussard and TE Smolko among those cut in trim down to 75

The Jaguars released five players to trim the roster to the 75-man limit. Included in Tuesday’s cuts were veterans WR John Broussard and TE Isaac Smolko and first-year players DE Alex Boston, WR Clyde Edwards and WR Jeron Harvey.

Sad to see Smolko and Broussard go, but they have been jars on the shelf for way too long and outlasted their shelf lives.
As far as in the final round of cuts, unless some drastic things to occur, D'Juan Woods, Troy Williamson, and Todd Bouman will be looking for new teams.

Cuts.
It was time for Broussard to go. Smolko really didn’t help his chances with penalties the other night, plus I think we really wanna keep Charles Davis on the roster, so Smolko had no room.
I do think of these cuts, Jeron Harvey has potential to be productive in this league. If any of these gentlemen return to Jax for a stay on the practice squad, my vote is for Jeron. Go Jags! Things are slowly turning around for the better.
Unfortunately, the truth only comes out game-by-game.
