Farve and the Jets
Guess what happened to the Farve "saga". He went to the Jets. Yes he has finally left the Packers. Now he can rack up the starts with the Jets. So, good luck Aaron Rodgers. I wonder what the Packers will do on opening day instead of retiring Bretts Jersey..... I think the talk is finally over, and we can move on to other stories. But I do need to ask....
So, do you think the Jets will be better with Farve?

who really gives a flying fart about Brett Favre…whiny crybaby that is addicted to fan adulation and cant give it up when it is truly time…..I wish he would have stayed retired myself personally…but nothing personal about your post kujo24

OK... Help me out
Brett Farve had a very good season last year. Quarterback is a leadership position. The Jets need both leaders and a QB. What is so wrong about Brett Farve playing one or two more years?
Is it that he is playing or the way he handled it that draws the reaction? Exactly why should he retire if he changed his mind? I’m honestly asking, not being critical.

It's both actually....
Keep in mind, yeah he was great from ‘94 to’97, but in 2005 and 2006 he threw 38 touchdowns with 47 interceptions, while Aaron Rodgers was on the bench. Noone was crying for Aaron. in 2007 Brett had a great year, but all was lost on a ’ Farvesque ’ ill-advised throw. As good as that team was, what if Aaron had been starting for 3 years? Would they have been in the Superbowl? We’ll never know.
They had a deal worked out and ready for Brett to sign. Two days before it was to be announced, he retired. He had been saying that he would for the past two years. When he retired, the Packers organization had a responsibility to win games and name a new starting QB, not sit around and hope Brett changes his mind. They had run through training camp and OTAs with Aaron. To try to come back before OTAs might have been okay, but to disrupt all of the teams hard work in late summer with this whole circus was plain wrong. Brett owes the Packers, their fans and Aaron Rodgers an apology.
He says that he can’t forget what happened. Dude, are you a 13 year old girl?
Grown men shouldn’t let hurt feelings stop them from honoring their commitments or use it to pressure your own team to get what you want. You made a decision and should have dealt with the consequences like a man. And the comments he made to the press were childish.
Sorry to rant.

Its the way the media responded
All you heard about on any news channel was Brett Farve. It was a big mess, and I don’t think the 4th round pick was worth the massive attention. I saw a Brett Farve comment on CNN, thats just going way to far… Every time I watched ESPN or NFL Network, they had a 30 minute segment on Brett Farve. And it holds true todkay, NFL NEtword said they were covering the Jags, they just forgot to leave Brett Farve to cover it.

You know....
when Brett said in the press conference that he would just say what the Packers said, paraphrasing, “I’m moving on”. I couldn’t help but hear…...
“But then Brett spent so many nights thinkin’ how they’d done him wrong, He grew strong, yes he learned how to get along….”
It’s like watching a teenage break-up in Jr. High. I’m sorry, but him throwing dignity away is just funny to me.
He shoud have just stayed great and stayed retired.
