Let's talk Sensabaugh and Starks

Players come and go. Some become faces of the franchise (Taylor, Henderson, Jones-Drew) and some become disgraces (Soward, Leftwich).

But then we've got guys in between who never really get any credit, despite their talents. For example, the early Jaguars teams would not have been nearly as successful as they were without players like Pete Mitchell, Leon Searcy and Lonnie Marts. Yet it's so easy to forget these guys.

When considering our roster now, we have a pair of players on defense who may be the next crop of these necessary, but forgettable, guys. Specifically I'm talking about Gerald Sensabaugh and Scott Starks. All indicators point to stardom for these two. Freak athletic ability for one and speed and instinct for the latter. But they just can't squeeze into our starting roster, which by the way, is probably a good sign.

So here are some questions to ponder:

1. Could either player be a legitimate starter in the NFL?
2. Will these guys make significant contributions to the success of our upcoming season?
