Jacksonville Jaguars Job Opening: Offensive Linemen Wanted!
Offensive Linemen: The JAGUARS need YOU!!!
Up and Coming Football Franchise seeks motivated and powerful Offensive Linemen!
The JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS currently has 3) positions available for Offensive Guards/Centers for a long-term stable opportunity located in the Jacksonville FL area.
The JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS currently seek left and right guards to replace injured VInce Manuwai and Maurice Williams, with other positions open as backups at left tackle, center, and just about every other offensive line position. Applicants to this position get to join a team with a bright future, where their performance on the line will directly correlate to winning and going deep into the playoffs. Applicants seeking easy game checks and bench time SHOULD NOT APPLY
TECHNICAL SKILLS:
Knowledge of or demonstrated experience with sustaining drives and road grating.
Working understanding of Run Blocking and Pass Protection a must
Ability to learn new offensive system on the fly as well as adjust to new team dynamic
Ability to perform basic to complex troubleshooting steps and pass blocking moves with the understanding that if the quarterback goes down, the game is over.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Using physical strength and football fundamentals, applicants will be responsible for winning "in the trenches" against defensive linemen. The JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS expect their quarterback to survive the game with as little contact as possible, so protecting the passer is the number one priority.
Linemen are also required to apply themselves fully to the running game, specifically using overwhelming force to remove defenisve tackles, ends, and linebackers from plays with more pancakes than an IHOP. Run blocking is where the JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS Super Bowl hopes begin and end, and new hires must quickly adapt to the scheme.
Applicants should send resume and game tape to humanresources@jaguars.com

Replacements
Bentley was a dominant force at both guard and center until his injury. From what I understand he passed a physical and is back to almost 100 percent, but hasn’t signed with anyone due to money.
Larry Allen was voted to the pro bowl last year, and just recently called it a career. I am sure if offered enough money he would come back to play one more for a contender like the Jags.
Of course it would take time for these guys to learn the play book along with getting back into football shape. If these guys could play anywhere near their level down the road, the Jags could still be a contender for the big dance.

We could resign Naeole if the price was right for us. Bentley was never the same after his injury though.

Milford Brown...
was signed to a deal. He did a decent job of plugging the line for the Rams. Hopefully he has sum success here, too. These guys that are getting signed or coming up from the P Squad won’t play this Sunday, right? Is it for sure going to be Tutan Reyes and Nwaneri starting against Buffalo?

Scouting Report coming soon....
I’m trying to find some folks who’ve seen him in action to offer their thoughts on the guy. I’ve honestly never heard of him until today.

at this point...
I’m not sure what to think anymore. Our lead OLine Blocker is now on IR and our RG is going to miss significant time. This is real bad, of course. Were all going to get a real good look at what that $60 mil we paid for. Do you guys think that we’ll still be able to be to run the ball and be in the top 5th in the league in rushing? I have always held Vince in the highest regards and put him in the same catagory as Steve Hutchinson. He should have made the pro bowl twice over if only as a backup.

This is the test
You do not earn glory the easy way. This is the path to greatness and the test we must overcome.
The only thing I can do is call on all Jaguar fans to show upand add positive energy to the game on Sunday, If ever the team needs the 13th man it is now.
JDR will do what he does, David Gerrard will do what he does, Jerry Porter will do what he does, everyone will play their role, we must play our role.
Sell out the stadium and show support. There is nothing else to do but that.

I still can't believe...
that we are still talking about trying to sell tickets in our 13th year having an NFL franchise in Jacksonville. After the amazing, magical years that we have had here, it absolutely boggles my mind that this is even still an issue. I know it takes some time (Tampa Bay) but WTF. The people in Jacksonville know what they have to do to keep the team here. It’s so simple, and yet people still don’t buy tickets. What a fun day it is at “The Jack” on Sundays. I wish people would think about whan their Sunday would be like without Jaguar football going on. In that town, the day would be pretty dull. After the season that we had last year, come on, how can you not be excited!
