MJD getting publicity

After seeing the Rachel Ray post I figure this would be a good time to throw in some random things the Maurice Jones-Drew will be doing.

On Thursday, Maurice will be participating in Madden Bowl XV and after the smack he talked on the Madden commercial, he better go out there and play well.

On Saturday, MJD and the Bears' Matt Forte will officiate the 3rd Annual DirecTV Celebrity Beach Bowl. Celebrities involved include Kevin Dillon (Entourage), Christian Slater (Lies & Illusions), Blake Lively and Penn Badgley (Gossip Girl), Odette Yustman (The Unborn, Cloverfield), Dave Annable (Brothers & Sisters), Zach Gilford (Friday Night Lights), Brody Jenner and Frankie Delgado (The Hills, Bromance), Kim, Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian (Keeping up with the Kardashians), Playboy Playmates Jayde Nicole (2008 Playmate of the Year) and Pilar Lastra. Athletes involved include NFL greats Eddie George, Merril Hoge, Jamal Anderson, John Kidd and NASCAR's Kasey Kahne. Reggie Bush (New Orleans Saints) will coach Team NFL Sunday Ticket with quarterback Steve Young while Eli Manning (New York Giants) will coach Team Superfan with quarterback Warren Moon

Have you ever been to watch a Semi-Pro football game? They play during the NFL offseason to keep the football pumping through the bloodstream of football fans…. They are very entertaining to watch and cheap!

I can play all around on the O-line. My main position is C. I’ve played several places before including some small arena football. I chose to come back here an play due to I have a daughter and another kid on the way and don’t want to be away from my family.
