Big Cat Country NFL Draft Coverage!
With the Combine just around the Corner, I thought it's about time to show off some of the coverage we're going to have at Big Cat Country for the NFL Draft.
1. Mock Draft Database: We'll be (very tediously) checking and updating this mock draft tracker with the latest projections for the Jaguars first and eventually second round picks. While many of these drafts are seemingly chaotic, the aggragate might start to tell us something about who will be available at 8. Besides, it's far easier to project the top ten than the entire first round. Unless it's 2008 and the Atlanta Falcons screw the whole thing up by taking Matt Ryan and lead to the Jaguars trading up for Derrick Harvey. But that's neither here nor there. Check out the database here.
2. Scouting Reports: Expect to see at least three a week from now until mid-April. We're working on our list of players, though we're always welcoming suggestions. While we will cover the obvious first round guys, we're also going to look for diamonds in the second day rough where we can.
3. Mock Draft: Collin, Terry, John and Myself are going to do a 2 round mock draft in early april. Details and ways to participate are still in the works, so stay tuned.
4. Scouting Combine and Pro-Day Coverage: We'll be keeping a close eye on the results and interviews with our targeted prospects as well as late comers to the Jaguars radar. We'll identify who the team is hosting for an interview and who's falling off the draft board, at least as best we can.
The biggest issue, at least for me, is knowing what you would like to see here on BCC during the offseason. Please, if you'd like, leave a comment or two about what you'd like to see us cover about our Jaguars and the long offseason in the comments. We're a community here, you can't spell community without communication.

Wow the mock draft database is excellent
Great work. Just a question, how will I be able to access that database and the older scouting reports once this particular story gets old and covered up by other stories?
Good Question
As soon as I finish up a few charts, there will be a permanent link to the BCC Draft Center toward the top of the site. It will have the database, scouting reports, etc all easy to find.
It’ll also be shamelessly plugged in most posts.

To add
On my current list of guys you’ll see Reports from me
Michael Oher-Who will be live 8am Wednesday
Eugene Monroe
Jeremy Maclin
Percy Harvin-I MAY have something special lined up for this one, I’m keeping that close to the vest
Pat White
Duke Robinson
If you guys have any requests of players you think the Jags will be interested in, don’t be afraid to ask. Or just do your own and if it’s good like the one SoCal did of Jason Smith it’ll be front paged.

Matt Kroul, Mardy Gilyard, Brandon Gibson, Willie Tuitama, Bernard Scott RB(not on the list above, but he’s like a cross between Chris Johnson and Darren Sproles). Other than Gibson and maybe Gilyard all of them have a good chance of not getting drafted.
Yah
I’m not sure if he did or not, but I assume he did as his name was in the article. I’ll try to find out if he did.
Monday comes my first player interview of potential Draftees.
Ryan Chesla: TE Northern Colorado
2007 + 2008 Al Big Sky Conference 1st team offense
Many more will come over the offseason and I hope this will provide a level of insight into the players that you wouldn’t normally find.
Hope you guys enjoy!

what I would like to see
I do not post a lot but do so when the issue is compelling. As for what I would like to see is a list of Free agents by positioin or group and who would improve the jaguars and is it feasible to get them and in your opion will it happen
Armand Riendeau
I just took a look at the mock draft database
There needs to be a 3rd WTF at the guy who picked Beanie Wells

haha, true that.
Not only is it a very high spot to draft Beanie, but to a team with very little use for another RB. I’m all about BAP, but if BAP is a RB or WR, trade trade trade
