I've had about enough of this guy
I used to respect Peter King ... his knowledge, his contacts, his communication skills.
But like so many print journalists who have made the jump to TV, satellite radio, the internet, etc., he has really become full of himself. The last two things I remember him writing about our city and team are: 1) Jacksonville was supposed to become Atlanta, but it's just Hartford with palm trees; and b) The London Jaguars sounds about right.
And today, this:
Tennessee Titans (0-3) at Jacksonville Jaguars (1-2)
To: The 31 other teams of the NFL.
From: Jeff Fisher.
Re: The 2009 season.
It ain't over till we say it's over.
Prediction: Tennessee Titans 30, Jacksonville Jaguars 23
At some point this guy is going to get tired being so clever and writing about T.O., Brett Favre, Michael Vick and Jerry Jones' scoreboard, and find out that there is real substance in the changes that have been made here, and an extraordinary group of young Jaguars that are worth writing about.

Where was the remark that made you post this?
All I see is that he picked the Titans, which really isn’t that surprising to me at all. If I wasn’t a Jaguar fan there’s a very good chance that I would probably pick the Titans myself.
Yeah I don't see anything wrong with the last one either
Vegas says Titans by 3. A seven point prediction isn’t exactly bulletin board material.
What will he do if Farvre ever really retires?
Cowboys new stadium isn’t very impressive either.
If carrots got you drunk, rabbits would be fucked up.

I don't have a problem with the prediction ...
… I have a problem with the attitude, and the fact that he – and others – would rather try to be cute than say something positive or constructive. I just always thought he was above that.
Interesting that today the Jags are all over the news … Around the Horn, PTI, SportsCenter … and why? Because JDR asked David Gararrd not to do a radio show on Friday. Either we are suddently more popular than the Cowboys or it’s a really slow news day!
Don't be upset
If the jaguars win, we can scatch trough 1 team from the contenders for this year
