Favorites in my own format!!!
LOVE:
Jacksonville – my one and only. I will not practice sports bigamy.
Like/Admire: Not so much I hope they win, but they have some admirable qualities that don’t piss me off or I have fond memories of (see Tampa Bay)
1. Pittsburgh – Most patient team in the NFL?
2. Baltimore – Run the ball/stop the run…well, used to be
3. San Diego – Strong drafting/roster (they’re old now), run the ball/stop the run…well, used to be
4. Minnesota – Stroud/Henderson 2.0, Run the Ball, Stop the run (though Favre almost killed it for me)
5. Green Bay – Finally they threw Aaron Rodgers out there. Don’t overdraft receivers yet have on of the best receiving corp in the nfl. AARON KAMPMAN!!!
6. San Francisco – Crazy/Fiery coach. Run the ball. Singletary!!!
7. Carolina Panthers – Run the ball/stop the run (well, used to be). Patience (well, until this upcoming offseason)
8. Tampa Bay – Loved the Warrick Dunn/Mike Alstott/John Lynch/Derrick Brooks/Booger McFarland and Warren Sapp (as a player). Dungy ball = run the ball, play good defense…well, used to be before Peyton.
9. Atlanta Falcons – Matt Ryan is a great cornerstone to build a team. Mike Smith = great guy
THE HATE LIST (I can appreciate the talent, but…)
1. Tennessee Titans – I will forever hate Jeff Fischer and the Titans for 1999
2. Indianapolis – I hate Eli just because of Peyton. Everytime I see Peyton on a commercial I want to hit something.
3. New England Patriots – They own Jacksonville…What’s the Jags record versus the Pats? 1 – ??
4. New York Jets – Dear Mike Tannenbaum, Thank you for screwing Jacksonville with Vernon Gholston’s contract. Thank you for making a big trade for a “big name” wide receiver. One step forward (Coach Ryan) two steps back.
5. Dallas Cowboys – Jerry Jones, you are a money grubbing, botox injecting, Al Davis 2.0. You will kill this league if you get rid of revenue sharing (wait, but I’m a conservative…Revenue sharing is…SOCIALISM!!! AHHHHHHHHHH!)
6. Philadelphia Eagles – the fans are jerks (well, the ones I’ve met), Donovan McNabb has been one of the more abused quarterbacks I can remember (just let him do his thing), and Andy Reid…where do I start…?
7. Washington Redskins – Dear Dan Snyder and Vinny Cerrato, quit suing your fans, quit wasting money on free agents, hire a real coach and stick with them (no offense, but Jim Zorn????)
8. New York Giants – I love Tom Coughlin, their offensive/defensive lines play my kind of football…so why is it I can’t stand them unless they play anyone else on my hate list?
The Pitty List
1. Detroit Lions – Jim Schwartz is a hell of a coach. He’ll do good things there if the ownership doesn’t screw things up.
2. Oakland – I always say never to say this, and it’s horrible to say, but seriously, Al Davis, pass away and give the Raiders peace.
3. Cincinnati – Mr. Brown, you are not your father. Give up control to someone that knows what they’re doing. Wasted potential all around.
4. Cleveland – Dear Browns fans, how long until Coach Mangina is fired?
5. Kansas City – There’s no hope in sight. It’s sad to see a once proud franchise where they are now (also see Oakland).
6. St Louis – I wouldn’t mind if Rushie was part of an ownership group, but apparently everyone else does. Save the Rams (in LA soon?)…
I could care less List
1. Houston Texans
2. Miami Dolphins
3. Buffalo Bills
4. Denver Broncos
5. Chicago Bears
6. Seattle Seahawks
7. Arizona Cardinals
8. New Orleans Saints
Ignore the hype; look at the results.

Teams I like/admire the most
AFC:
N – Ravens (hard-nosed football right there)
S – Jaguars, duh (followed by Colts, but that may change now that Dungy is gone)
E – Bills (I don’t know why, maybe I feel sorry for them from back in the early 90s)
W – Chargers (they can put out some running backs)
NFC:
N – Packers (my wife’s favorite team, although I caught her rooting for the Vikings once…wonder why?)
S – Falcons (lived in Atlanta for a while and they grew on me, and Mike Smith)
E – Giants (love what Coughlin has done up there)
W – 49ers (hopefully Singletary can get those guys back in shape, miss the Montana-Rice days)
