More on Quentin Grove's situation is coming to light
"According to Duval County court records, Groves has six other citations this year, ranging from speeding to an expired tag.

One of the citations shows Groves was driving with a suspended or revoked license. The July 26 citation says the officer "seized" Groves' license.

On March 10, he got cited for speeding and not carrying his license.

The July 26 incident also included a citation for an expired tag. On Sept. 11, he was cited for careless driving after police say he ran into another car at a stop light.

And on Sept. 14, he was cited for "unlawful use of tag."

It's unclear if Groves' license was suspended when Friday's crash happened.

Back in 2006, Groves was involved in a car crash without insurance and a suspended license, according to a 2006 draft analysis on NFL.com"

Either Quentin Groves doesn't care about any traffic laws in the state of Florida or he is a worse driver then me. Again I ask, if Sims-Walker is benched for missing bed check, why was Groves allowed to play when he had attempted to commit a 3rd degree felony the day before?

I think he'll be suspended first...

for at least the next game. Although they may wait until the legal process is complete.

They benched the wrong person.

MSW was late to bed. Groves committed a felony. Which one sat?

I think Officers should be have to call a Certain Coach when they pull over or a players gets in trouble. That will handle itself then.

Indeed... He should've told the coach what happened...

But maybe he did tell the coach, and the coach figured no crime was committed because the CRIMINAL POLICE drove him to the air-port… Can we all agree they’re the real problem in this situation…

There is no felony

It was a warning. Why would Groves tell Del Rio he received a warning?

according to Rotoworld

“…police then drove Groves to his plane and gave him a mere warning for improper lane change. "

http://www.rotoworld.com/content/HeadLines.aspx?sport=NFL&hl=154811

If he told the coaches that, there would be no reason to keep him out of the game. I’m thinking we need to wait and see how this all unfolds before crucifying him. And if one of the vehicles rear-ended him, that’s their fault as they were following too close.

unless his improper lane change was right in front of the car in the lane he switched to… in which case, groves would be at fault…
i do agree that we need to wait and see how it all pans out before we kick him off the team

I...

Think we should trust the coaches on this one. If the police gave him a warning, it must not have been too serious. Please don’t dig, cause I don’t think there is any treasure there – only dirt.

If it was serious and against team rules he would have been benched.

He never Tweeted about any of this...

so it must not be true!

I just heard Vic

in “jaguars Monday”, that today in the locker room, where MSW and Groves ask for forgivnes and apologized before the whole team.
Witnesses told Groves fight with his tears(maybe even cried…)
WOW!

Like I thought

bad judgment on his part. Vic said Groves panicked because he thought he would be late for the plane. That’s why he got a warning. He told the people who he was, then he tried to keep his itinerary. Still a bone-head move, but not as bad as previously reported.

I think if he really was that emotinal

on the locker room today, I would give him a “Matt Jones shot” for this year.

With the "Matt Jones shot?"

When he was caught with drugs last year, everyone wanted to cut him, but he had the best (and last) year of the NFL later that season. Maybe Groves can change like direction to.
BY the way, I was at jacksonville.com, and I saw sniplets about JDR’s press conference. When Vito Stelino asked him about the Groves incident, Jack was shown frustration, and maybe it looked liked he left the press conference quickly after that:
