People Without Knowledge Shouldn't Start Rumors...
This was on Bleacher report.
[Editorial Note: This is pure garbage. This Bleacher Report Scribe's "source" says it's a done deal, then why did he follow it by saying it's a possibility for the Rams to move there... Please guys... ignore all of these idiots, or go to his site and tell him what a classless jerk he is for starting illegitimate rumors. There is no credence to this fool's article. All we can do is buy tickets and hope for the best. - Collin]
Football Back In LA?: Jaguars And Rams To Move To Los Angeles
by Doc
Scribe Written on October 22, 2009
For almost fourteen years now, the closest Los Angeles has been to an NFL team has been the USC Trojans. Well, that is about to change.
The Jacksonville Jaguars will be moving to Los Angeles, and it could happen as soon as next season. With attendance down, the Jags have been trying to gain more support from their fans. They were even thinking about playing some games in Orlando.
My source tells me that the decision has already been made, but the front office is not announcing it, in an effort to not disrupt support from the fans in Jacksonville. At this point, there has been no decision as to whether or not the team's name will remain the "Jaguars."
The team will play at the Los Angeles Coliseum for two to three years, before ultimately moving to a stadium that will be built in the City of Industry. Here is a link to view the stadium that will be built:http://www.losangelesfootballstadium.com/
I have also learned, that there is a large possibility that the St. Louis Rams could relocate back to Los Angeles. This may come as no shock, as the team is up for sale; new ownership may seek more opportunities by moving the team back to L.A.
The NFL will be back in Los Angeles soon enough.

let not panic
I can see this happening maybe in a 10 year period, but the Jags are locked here with a lease with the city of Jacksonville that will cost an arm and a leg to break. As for the article think it is nothing more then a bunch of speculation and junk. will see in time though

This is the writer's bio - So I'd say NO. Pure nonsense.
My name is Mike Debelak. I am a huge baseball fan. I played baseball competetively until I blew out my arm in high school during my senior year. I still play in men’s leagues and feel that I have some left in the tank. I am majoring in advertising at San Diego State. My dream job would to be a sports radio show host (Jim Rome is my favorite) or a high school baseball coach.

Hey look
An article about this new stadium that doesn’t mention the Jaguars by name!
“Developer Majestic Realty Co. has said the San Diego Chargers, Oakland Raiders and San Francisco 49ers are on its list of seven teams it will approach about a move to the Los Angeles area.”

I think you should edit the title again.
Combined with the Editorial Note, it seems as though you’re referring to floridafalcon. You should clarify that you’re referring to Mike Debelak, the “Scribe”, and not floridafalcon.

I live out here in CA, and the new stadium being built for football in LA has been a big topic of conversation around here recently. The stadium is being built with no specific team in mind. The Governator just wants to try and convince teams to come to LA with the promise that a new stadium is already on the way. Not a bad strategy. And he said himself that they would approach the three CA teams with an offer to move them down to LA.
Everything else that comes out is pure speculation based on attendence numbers and prevalant thought among “experts” about who desperately needs to move. Obviously the Jags would be on that list, along with the Rams and the Raiders. At this point, I don’t think the teams have even been contacted with an offer to move them out to LA. It’s just sportwriters looking to get their name out there and their articles read. I wouldn’t worry too much about it.
Sometimes the impossible can become possible if you're AWESOME!

Im out here too
and I was thinking … what if this stadium group gets rejected by all seven of its projected targets? I know Al Davis is a sucker for a quick buck but I can’t see the Raiders leaving Oakland … it’s a match made in hell lol. San Diego is dragging its feet on a stadium and I think this is the kick in the ass they need to get something done. I think it’d be humorous to build a megamillion dollar stadium (in a dumpy, crime-ridden, poverty infested town, mind you) without a team to fill it.

By the way(Help needed)
The “Schwarznegger signed to buils a new LA Stadium”’ hit the Hungarian site, and everyone commented we will be ended up there.
I wrote already there" the teams moving because of stadium" thing; but is anyother point or points that I can back my point that the Jags will probably not moving to LA?

well to further elaborate say
We have a contract that would kill us if we moved.
The commitment of Weaver to stay to Jax
Then point to Raiders ugly old stadium and their ticket sales.

Atlanta radio just played Arnold's snipet...
over-riding the enivrinomental concerns and court cases to build the new stadium.
This all could just be appeasement politics or could be much worse. Arnold does walk in those powerful circles. If he is serious, he can get it done. I would have to think something this big would already be in the making. Sometimes I get the feeling ole’ Ketcham is throwing out hints???

I have been worried about Vic's hints aswell.
Sorry Guys, I am a season Ticket holder, and love my Jaguars, but 32,000 fans last week doesnt do anything to calm my fears!

The only Hungarian sportnewspaper
wrote an article about the issue
http://www.nemzetisport.hu/amerikai_sportok/az-angyalok-varosa-visszaterne-az-nfl-be-2004185/
They say (Oh; I hope it will be reality) that San Diego has the best shot; because the owner and the head of the group are close friends.
Please let it happen!!!!!

Spread the word
Instead of worrying about who might be relocating I beleive we should focus more on getting people in seats. Stadium naming rights… This moving business will never go away if we do not support this team. Just business. I believe there is a certain validity to almost any article raising this question because Jax has not done anything to squash it. Business buyouts happen daily for exhorbanant amounts.
