Your friendly intra-divisional blogger Jimmy here to solicit and answer your questions about the sinking ship that is the Tennessee Titans. You should get your first look at the new Vince Young which I think will look a lot like the old Vince Young, but who really knows? Can't hurt anything at this point, right?
Anyway, leave your questions below and I will do my best to shed any light that I can on them. I just hope this game is closer than the last one....

I really thought he might be trying.
Coming out wearing a Peightan Manning jersey is bad enough then adding the comment that you wanted to feel like a winner makes it worse. And he knows Bottom line Bud Adams wants to see Vince, but keeps sticking with KC for some reason.

I'd have to disagree with you here
I am certainly not a fan of Jeff Fisher’s but I saw nothing wrong with the Jersey situation and LOVED the way he handled the fallout. I seriously doubt his players had a problem with it.

This is what he said and it sounds to me like he gets it.

Sure, he didn’t laugh but I imagine being 0-6 and losing 59-0 tempers a lot of humor these days.

Obvious questions
Who do you think will start at QB? And what, in your opinion, has gone wrong with the 2009 titans to make them go 0-6.

And pretty much everything. The defense has been horrific because of an inexperienced coordinator, injuries and pretty much everyone playing badly. The offense has lost it’s run first identity, KC has been terrible, and the receivers can’t catch. On special teams we cut the only returner who had any experience coming out of camp and had to sign him back 3 weeks later because we didn’t have anyone who could catch a punt.

Is it true that your losing season is a ploy to get a better draft pick then us so you can steal Tebow away?
I hope not.
In my opinion, Tebow brings essentially the same QB skill set that the Titans already have in Vince Young.
Yes, there are differences – VY is faster, Tebow is probably tougher, but their passing skills appear, to me, to be about the same.
I will be pissed if they draft Tebow

Questions on the O and D plan
1. Will Fisher trust VY to throw the ball (considering his past track record and the questionable receiving corps) or can we expect a heavy dose of ball control using CJ and VY on the gound with occasional dumps to the TE and RB?
2. With a the return of CF on the defense, can we expect a more agressing approach to pass defense or is there concern he still isn’t 100% and therefore a liability?

Hello Jimmy
To me the Titans have always been personified by their defensive toughness and intimidation. I have no doubt that some of that was attributable to Haynesworth, but when I think of the Titans D I think first of Bullock and Vanden Bosch. Throw in Finnegan, Thornton, Griffin et. al. and you have the core of the Titan’s success in recent years. I know Albert is gone, but the others are not. How does that overall team toughness disappear in the course of one off-season?
