"You all know me. I'm not a person who gets down," he said. "At the beginning I was, but I went home and readjusted and (thought), 'Q, maybe you have to put a little more work than I was putting in before.'" (emphasis added)
Groves was told by the coaches about the change last week, but Del Rio didn't go public with the demotion until Wednesday when he was asked why Groves didn't play more against the Titans.
Groves said he fell short in "little things" like coverages and awareness including "what's happening in front of me and behind me" as he adjusts to the new 3-4 defense.
"I am working every day to make it back and show them he does belong here and he can do the things we ask him to do," Groves said.

haha.... no.
It was during an interview I believe.
If you’re in your second year and still haven’t gotten the work part down, it worries me. He should be excelling right now, but he can’t learn the 3-4, which speaks to mental preperation as much as physical, because his body-type is physically matched for a 3-4 LB…

once or twice is OK - but he's just dropping SPAM bombs on us and that's very uncool
it’s no different than if I were to just drop links to my e-bay store throughout articles and this website. If he wants to advertise, thats’s fine – he should speak with our editors about purchasing a sponsorship.

I don’t mind that he drops by

I wouldn't give up on Groves...
I think he has shown very good athleticism on several occassions and has made some big plays. Maybe he needs to get rid of all his electronic devices except a phone until he is thriving in this league.

Makes me think
Who’s the guy the Cardinals got in the second round last year? I forget his name, but he’s a starter now. Lost a lot of draft stock because he was injured going into the draft. Now, well from what I’ve seen he’s looked good. Oh, Calais Campbell, yeah. So, how did we consistently miss this bad in past drafts? I think Groves has upside, and I like him. But, we need production. Makes me sad. lol

Campbell
was a higher risk type of guy. He had all the talent in the world, but didn’t produce in college. There were also questions about his motivation.

can someone talk to ol’ George Wrighster and ask him to either join in the conversation’s thread or post his articles in a fanshot, perhaps? A couple of these link bombs, i think, are OK. But, to have over 20 in two days is slightly aggravating

Have faith in Quentin
hey guys we drafted him for a premium position and it takes time.
Then throw in adejusting to 3-4 defense.
He has been a stud on special teams. I thing he surely warrants a very good jar on the shelf depending on the type of defense

I like Groves
As a person he seems real cool. Listens to Gucci Mane, has a good personality, can communicate with the public (unlike harvey), but I just wonder if the guy will ever develop into a good NFL player.
I know one thing. If we make the permanent switch to the 3-4, he has a better chance than Harvey to stay on the team.
Come on Q! We’re all rooting for you. Come out and whip some people. Get those sacks! If you do what you’re supposed to do, you’ll be the King of Jacksonville. The world is yours. Go take it.
