Fitzpatrick, Fitz against Jags D
| The Buffalo Bills are expected to start Ryan Fitzpatrick at QB this Sunday, according to a league source. Trent Edwards, the team’s longtime starter, returned to the lineup last week after missing about a month with a concussion, but was yanked in favor of Fitzpatrick during the loss to the Titans. |

Exactly. Edwards has shown he can’t do it. Fitz hasn’t quite shown that yet.

I see your point.
Better to have a maybe than a no.

To put that into Jaguars terms
Instead of having a doofus (Nelson/Can’t do it) be the replacement for Mathis, have Brackenridge (Maybe do It) try.

Their D coordinator is mentioned as most likely interim HC – put the Fitz to start at QB on hold for now until the dust settle from this shake up

I don't know why they are so happy
their OL is too weak for any coach to have a winning season with them. It’s really sad how bad it is.

the bills (hopefully) won’t be focused on winning the game…

I think the opposite - we may get their (players) best effort of the season as a result

really?
why would players play harder when they know their organization is in shambles and going no where? and they start fitzpatrick instead of edwards (who would actually give them a chance)? the bigger problem i think is the jaguars like to play down to bad opponents, well and nelson is at cb

Do you remember
How Fitzpatrick played against us last year? Plus if he can play good; he can kick out Edwards; and can become the starting QB!
I have fears…Specially with Mathis is out; and Evans and Terrell “Ticking Timebomb” Owens is on that team

for the reason you just cited
they are playing for their jobs either with the new regime or with another team. Either way, those players WANT to have a very good highlight tape to show perspective employers next season.

Caution everyone...
…this guy Fitzpatrick had quite the nice outing against us last year. Passing efficiency and a healthy dosage of rushing yards. Don’t remember?

Just a little due diligence.
But we can throw it back into the hinterlands from now. Although the Montell Owens TD was cool.

Trap game or not....
if we can’t beat the Bills at home then we don’t deserve to be a playoff team or even a contender.

Yep
But I have still some fears because of the mismatch at the secomdary vs T.O + Evans…

Well Lageman just said on JTW
that he is happy that Fitzpatrick is the QB; because Edwards is the better playcaller in Buffalo. I hope it will be a good thing for us on Sunday!
