Yes, that is what's at stake for the Jaguars today. If they get a win vs the Bills we can realistically start talking playoffs. Who would've thought that in September following the meltdown vs Arizona.

I know

just that those are comments people usually only make when they are, to some extent, assuming they have a great chance of winning. Something I will not allow myself to do with an inconsistent team. Not calling you out obviously, but this stuff is infectious. haha

I'm too a bit pessimistic

(except last week when I made hat bold prediction-"if thy defeat the Jets; they go to the "P"s..) I hope they can win this game; MJD can score 150+yard; and 2-4 TDs…

A team like the Bills

after a coaching change can be similar to the Titans after their by. Hungry for a win. Granted the Titans have a lot more talent, but if the Bills are going to have a chance to win they know they will need to stop the run. And considering how little they have to lose they may just sell out against the run. Also keep in mind this is a three team league, offense, defense, and special teams; so if the game is close which they have been for most of the year, even against the Titans until the forth Qtr, they could win this game on special teams.
However having said that the Jags have a very good chance to win this game.

There is 1 difference

You can fill House MD and Grey’s anatomy with the Bills starters…

I would assume

that Nelson and Considine will start, making Smith the third guy. I think this means Tyron is probably going to start at CB. Brian Russell was also released yesterday making the Safety position a little thinner, meaning Nelson will probably stay at S.
And either Middelton or Smith will come in as our nickelback.

by Ewdtrey on Nov 22, 2009 12:15 PM EST up reply actions

It wont happen

not even in our Dime packages. He’s got too many liabilities like playing against slants and tackling. It would be cool to se his speed on a blitz or 2 though.

by Ewdtrey on Nov 22, 2009 12:25 PM EST up reply actions

I hope that Anthony Smith guy is ready

Cause he will se muuuuch action today.

Also we need Last week’s Considine this week too!

I’m anxious to see what MJD does to a Stroud-less defensive line.

Inactives for Jaguars:

Tiquan Underwood, Rashean Mathis, Justin Durant, Derek Landri, Tra Thomas, Maurice Williams, P. McQuistan, G.Peterson

Landri-I think it is the beginning in the end…

Demetrius Bell T Inactive

Joe Klopfenstein TE Inactive
Marcus Stroud DT Inactive

No McGee!!!!! (Garrard can win this too…)
And there starting LT will be rookie GUARD Levitre..If Harvey don’t get a sack today….
Guys if we lose this game….Then I will see this game in veeeeeery dark!

Life without knowledge is death in disguise

by Zoltan from Budapest on Nov 22, 2009 12:08 PM EST reply actions

Harvey plays on the Defensive left

meaning he’ll be playing against the RT. Bryan Smith and Q Groves have a good chance of getting some pressure in this game, against the undersized Levitre(6’3" 305lbs). Keep in mind he played lots of LT in college. And he’ll probably have someone chipping on his side.

by Ewdtrey on Nov 22, 2009 12:31 PM EST up reply actions

I just wanna see a Harvey sack already...

OH Lageman just interviewed JDR-He said he planning to put MJD on the next level. That might mean “RUN THE BALL”? I hope so.

The big question today is.. are we going to play down to our level of competition?

We have a habit of doing that in the past, and I’m sorry, but the Bills are not as good as us. Does not mean we will win. This game will show me whether we are ready to make our move or not.

by Blair72 on Nov 22, 2009 1:26 PM EST reply actions

I think it is apparent we won’t play down to them. The question is: will our CBs be able to hold out?

by alwaysforgiven821 on Nov 22, 2009 1:27 PM EST up reply actions

Don't panic guys :)

Our D will adjust.

We’ve got one sack already, and if NFL’s game centre is to believed, Harvey is playing well (2 tackles and a QB pressure already)

by KeithG on Nov 22, 2009 1:26 PM EST reply actions

Ugh

Can’t let em convert here. Hold to three and then drive for the TD. The Bills must be mentally broken, if they think they can’t win, they won’t try.
