Thanks for the articles John
I’m tuerned my atention to the Niners. I hope the guys will think that although tere were good moments; speciall in the end of the Bills game; the way they played yesterday will lead them nowhere on this sunday. They need to play Jets 1st half level against the Niners; to have any chance in Frisco. I’M not sold on the 49ers. I think they have 4-5 players(Gore; Davis; Crabtree; Manny Lawson; Takeo Spikes) who can punish you. There run-defense is more then solid(6th overall) You might beat them on the air; but our pass offense in not yet on the phase that we can count on them every week. I not like there QB; but his receivers are good; specially Vernon Davis(and folk keep looking on Crabtree; he is not an elite guy just yet; but still has enough talent to at our secondary).
I hope nobody is injured; and Durant; and Alexander can play in Frisco. I have less hope for Mathis; but we need him big time; with teams like Houston; Indy; NE on the horizon.
We are entering the make or break era. 3 games and if the Jags (somehow…) win all 3 they pretty much in the playoffs(Not in the hunt; IN THE PLAYOFFS). These 3 teams are not undefeatable; yet all representing big challenge. I’M interested how we can handle them….

alex smith CAN torch us
i dont know if he WILL
they love V Davis on 4 wr streak routes.
everybody deep and hit davis, he is a better athlete than whoever is guarding him. we need durant on him
we all know how good frank gore is. crabtree can be held to 3 for 37 or so
Storyline will have Holt and Bruce meeting each other
LateRoundPick.com
Considine (might) can guard Davis.
He and Crabtree are the keys on defense.
Luckly the playcalling in the 49ers sometimes so dumb then here. They use Gore even when he is being stopped. We will see; but I think it will be a HUGE gamew.
And one more time I repeat myself:
WE HAVE AN X-FACTOR ON THIS GAME!!!!!!!
(more on that later)

Hi
I’m from the NinersNation. VD is a real receiving threat—big, athletic and can make the tough catches. Crabtree hasn’t yet become a big name but he will. He’s not a burner, but he runs pretty good routes and his hands are incredibly strong. You won’t see him dropping catches (BTW, he scored his first TD of the season in our loss to GB on Sunday).
Regarding the spread offense—many of us are calling for Coach Sing to run it exclusively because it seems to work really well. However he’s been resistant to the idea since he wants to play smash mouth, run-the-ball offense.
Our O-line is pretty bad right now. Our starting LT went out at the beginning of the season. Our starting LG got hurt real bad in yesterday’s game. The Center is pretty good. We’ve got a second year player at RG (he started 8 games last season), and our RT is awful.
welcome to BCC
if you have seen any of our games, you will note that it really doesn’t matter if your O line is beat up, all rookies, cast offs, or what have you – they will be all pro against our guys. We have run stuffers and are fairly decent at that but we have NO pass rush. Alex Smith could very easily go off in this game – and VD (gotta love those initials) scares the hell out me.
This will be an extremely difficult game for the Jags to win – last time we traveled out west we got our doors blown off by a horrible Seattle team (41-0) – edge has to go to the 49ers.
They have issues as well Clay
Biiiig issues. But we too; specially without Mathis.
But we have a chance specially with Maurice having SPECIAL MOTIVATION TO THIS GAME!!!!!
Pooch (lead writer of Niners Nation) will soon taking our questions; he promied to do a fanpost soon

We're missing our starting LT
Joe Staley. Our starting LG got hurt Sunday though I don’t know how bad it is yet. Our starting RG is in his second year (only played half of last year), and our starting RT got hurt earlier this year and is out for the season and his replacement may just possibly be the worst RT in the league.
He is on IR for a while...

Thanks for the infos
As I said on Niners nation; I have fears about the Davis+Crabtree combo.
The offensive line injuries might could be an advatage for us; but I’M not sure which Jags will shown up on Sunday.
What about your defense?
Are there any injuries? Other the Willis; where are the stongholds; where are the weaknesses in your opinion?

Defense
Our run defense is very stout. We used to be number 2, but Chris Johnson and Ryan Grant tore us up so now we’re ranked 6th. Our pass defense is not good at all. We’re ranked 31st against the pass right now.
We’ve had lots of injuries in the secondary. Takeo Spikes our starting LB is out. His replacement has been pretty good but he’s only been with the team for 6 weeks. We’ve had 3 DBs get hurt this season (Nate Clements, Reggie Smith, Michael Lewis), and the replacements have been less than adequate.
The key to your passing game will be the underneath routes. Haralson (our OLB) is a converted DE so doesn’t have great lateral speed. If you can dink and dunk all day you’ll kill us just like Green Bay did.
By the way check this out

Buffalonews graded the Bills and us. They gave to coaching a B; they like Podlesh very much(when the Jags struggle; somehow he is a slight better; but we might need another contest for the punting job…)

they also said florence is their defensive mvp beside the rookie corner Byrd
i missed the game. first one all season. i couldnt get it…..
was our o-line as bad as it sounds or was buffalo’s d line good?
Where was Holt? There had to be nothing impressive guarding him. Or was that Garrard not reading again?
the int, any thoughts on if it touched the ground? I’ve heard mixed things, but Terry sounded confident.
OH and Terry if we woulda lost, i woulda blamed it on your fred taylor comments :)

Holt flat-out dropped 1 pass I saw
And David was hurried quite a bit before the 4th quarter.
The OL was AWFUL most of the game!
The middle was exposed, and their D line was in the backfield all day long. MJD 25 carries for 66 yards is all you need to know.
Duuuuvvvvallllllll!!!!!....Damn, I miss Paul Spicer!
BAD NEWS!!!
MATIS IS NOT PLAYING ON SUNDAY-Jack just said on his Monday press conference.
ALso Bryan Smith went to IR

Already to IR?!?
I heard a lot of people got hurt in that game… Bills lost 2 middle linemen for the year as well.
In the face of adversity, what you do from then on dictates who you really are...

I think thre is almost non factor who playing on DE now...
Greg Peterson; Groves or Ellison; or B. Smith; the result is the same=no passrush…
Mathis: yeah big blow. I hope the Jags can invent something better on Sunday then against the Bills…Vernon Davis and Crabtree might be more dangerous then the T.O: -Evans combo…
