Look on the Bright Side: Maurice Jones-Drew has his first 1,000 Yard Season

With a strong set of carries in the 4th quarter, Maurice Jones-Drew has crossed over 1,000 yards.  Anyone who thought he couldn't handle being a full-time running back, you can pick up your crow at JMS on Monday.

Clearly there's more to discuss about the game in progress, but I wanted BCC to Congratulate MJD for what's become an outstanding season for him.

Though, what makes Jones-Drew so great is that he'd trade any individual milestone for a team win.

/Back to chewing my fingernails and watching the game.

I don’t know how or why, but ehy are actually worse than last year. Just without all the penalties.

Okay

Good news:
MJD 1000+ yard season congartulation.
The Run defense is alive
Podlesh played well-That’s why we lost..
The offene can be a force (if don’t lose the ball)
If Ravens win SNF (we are still 6th in the AFC)
Considine is waaaay better then we expected!
Negatives.
O line terrible
Reggie Nelson Terrible
Scobee(Mr Notsosurelegs) has one more shot before “Youknowho” cut him.
Fumbles in the redzone killing us
Titans won 5th in the row
Colts are clinch division already(which might be good on Week 15…)….

Would be nice if we can finish our season @ The Jack 3 for 3

but I’d be happy if we could get at least 2 out of the 3. It’d be great for the fans that have been showing up for the last 7 home games & keep us in contention for a Wild Card. Even though our first playoff game would probably end up like both our trips to the West Coast… it’d make the season a success.

In the face of adversity, what you do from then on dictates who you really are...

Bea the 2 AFC South team (by the way; because of the Titnas win; I think if the jaguars would stand 8-5 of Week 15 the Colts will support us.
Why? Against who wanna they play us or Steelers/Ravens/Titnas (they can be all out and we could go in)
I’M the patience 8-8 guy; but I think if the jags can win this next 2 battles (somehow) we might win vs Indy.

MJD is a superstar of this league. I wish like hell I could get his autograph,

as well as Fred Taylors. MJD is the current lifeblood of this team. He displays true courage and leadership and has the talent to back it all up. No matter what happens through the season, Jacksonville should be proud to have Maurice Jones-Drew representing their city.

One thing I will never understand is the “oh, they played on the west coast”… or the other way around for teams stationed on the other side of the nation… i’m not saying someone said it on BCC, but everyone hear has heard it at some point for this game or for the Seatlle fiasco…

it’s only a THREE hour difference. that’s it. three hours. how that can affect professional football players is a freakin’ mystery to me. i can fly across the atlantic or pacific, and have done so a few times, with zero lag once i arrive. i just adjust my watch/phone/alarm clock/whatever, and move on…

ok, i’m done venting. enjoy!

Yeah, it's weird.

But, statistically teams that travel from coast to coast lose a LOT.
