Chiefs release Engram and Activate Kolby Smith
The Kansas City Chiefs announced on Saturday that the club has activated RB Kolby Smith from the Reserve/Physically-Unable-to-Perform List.
The Chiefs released WR Bobby Engram on Saturday. He played in five games for Kansas City in 2009, catching five passes for 61 yards. Engram has played in 176 regular season games (113 starts) with Chicago (’96-99), Seattle (2000-08) and Kansas City (2009), owning 650 receptions for 7,751 yards (11.9 avg.) with 35 TDs.
