You know

I know Vic has mentioned Derek and Knighton as the best 1-2 punch players value-wise, but I would argue that adding Thomas to that would make it the best 1-2-3 punch when referring to value. I also thought that Eugene Monroe played really well in the game. He really stepped up in the passing game; and in the running game too.
Britton needs to learn how to keep his head up when pass blocking. He keeps having lapses. If he can avoid the mistakes he can be a very good player in the near future.
I wonder what the rematch with the Colts will be like later this season.

Hell if we're gonna start ordering them up

I’d say we win the 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9 punch too.

That's almost true

I wouldn’t call Monroe a ‘value’ pick yet as he hasn’t shown to be a pro bowler YET. But he has the tools and looked really good in the Chiefs game. Even with the knowledge of the Chiefs being a sucky team, he performed better than expected. In reality however you couldn’t really call him a ‘homerun’ pick for as high as he was picked unless he became like Ogden or Pace, which I don’t think he has the ability to be. Maybe as a pass blocker, but not as a run blocker or as a player that plays as mistake free as those guys did in their heyday.
Britton had his ups and downs. He needs to learn to not over reach or drop his head. He has to trust his anchor and balance and his ability to recover.
Dillard hasn’t seen the field enough to be called a great pick yet. But he has shown the ability to be a homerun pick. The last 3 guys can be homerun picks, but they are in the same situation as Dillard.
