2-1 might still make it.....
I know we need most likely a 3-0 streak to get into the playoffs.... our Schedule presents some oportunities facing teams that might not be at full strength and we might just be able to pull it.
However a 2-1 might still be enough..... here I present the combination of results that makes a 2-1 enogh for us.
We need 3 things:
A Baltimore loss visiting Pittsburgh in 2 weeks,
Miami droping 2 of it´s last 3 games. Looking at their schedule it seems pretty viable. They have a visit at Tennessee then host the Texans and the Steelers.
And a Jets loss either against Atlanta, Indy or Cincy.
We aren´t in the Driving seat anymore, but things still seem reachable!!
The good thing is that we only need to wait till Thursday to take the needlo off our toe!!
Go JAGS!!

We have a great chance at still making the playoffs at 9-7.
Colts are resting their starters. Browns played rejuvenated against the Steelers; However, offense still not there.
Miami will lose to TEN and HOU.
Jets will lost to ATL
Ravens are the ones we have to look out for.

Caldwell: Colts will play starters this week
Posted by Gregg Rosenthal on December 14, 2009 1:50 PM ET
The NFL Network and every AFC team competing for a Wild Card spot just got an early Christmas present.
Colts coach Jim Caldwell said at his press conference Monday in no uncertain terms that the team would treat this Thursday’s game against Jacksonville “exactly” like the previous thirteen.
“We’re going to play ball and approach it like we do every week,” Caldwell said. “The only thing that will deter anyone from playing time is a health issue.”
Caldwell didn’t appear to be leaving himself wiggle room by mentioning the health issue. He was clear throughout his press conference he wanted to “maintain rhythm” by continuing to play to win.
We suspect that the Colts organization didn’t adopt this approach because they were reading Florio. The Colts have traditionally rested starters early, but they have never clinched homefield advantage with three full games remaining.
Starting to rest now would mean five weeks between meaningful games. Caldwell wouldn’t promise anything about next week’s game.
“That’s all I’m going to deal with is this week. I’m not going to look beyond this game. That’s served us well,” Caldwell said.
Even if it only lasts another week, Caldwell’s decision also serves the league well.
The NFL Network game is far more attractive now, and the Jaguars won’t get a competitive advantage over other playoff contenders.
That was posted one minute before my post! lol (doesn’t count)
However, I don’t expect to see the starters that long.

When Caldwell said he was going to treat this Thursday’s game exactly like the previous thirteen you can bet the starters will play most of the game.
Time will tell my friend, unfortunately for you I have inside info.

I believe you’re right, accordingly to what I’ve read in the local papers Caldwell made the statement that he was going to treat the Jags game just like the previous thirteen.
With that being said he also said that the ones who wont play will be because of health issues, funny there was 29 players on the injury list, and it happens to be most of the starters.
You can bet Peyton will at least take the first snap to preserve his starting record.
Now that I think about it, hell a lot of players that were suppose to be the starters haven’t played hardly or any all season so I guess it will be mostly third string.

Haha
So the Colts pretty much said, “We’ll going to play everyone who is ‘healthy’… but unfortunately that’s no one.”

Steelers?
I mean the Steelers will beat them just to kick them out from the playoffs. By the way if they lose one; and we lose one; and the Phins lose one-Jags are IN!!!!!

Ravens are definitely the team to watch. They have a favorable schedule. Now that Gradkowski is out for the year, that Raiders game looks much easier.
