Colts @ Jaguars 2nd half thread
Peyton Manning is 12/12.
All you need to know. Jags need to get pressure or it doesn't matter what the offense does.

This has been a very entertaining game
Man alot of you guys want Tebow and if you think Garrard has accuracy issues….

+1000000000000000000
Plus, he reads College defenses worse than David reads NFL defenses.

And Tebow's ridiculous windup makes him even more fumble-prone
I know, I saw him in person for years.

Good evening Jags fans -- what a barn burner!!
david is playing good tonight —-but, he’s had some critical misses. Sack / fumble was definately Monroes fault.
With no pass rush and we do not play bump and run (never have / not our game) Paightun is playing in another dimension.

Our D needs to get a stop
If we let the colts score on every drive, we have lost this.

To the ones that have said that safety is not as big a concern as line help
This game shows otherwise. Tonight the Jags are adding Can’t Cover to Can’t Rush The QB.

I noticed you guys are using the Dolphins' strategy
PTR and wind that clock down, the thing is that we had great a one -two punch with the R & R express, MJD doesnt have a kickass pothead riding shot gun thus he could get more worn down than the Colts D.
Plus like us, your secondary is vunerable, and Manning is Manning

No ;-;
I actually ran into a colts fan at work at seven… While his wife was shopping I sat with him as he relayed to me what was happening while looking at his phone about the game. I’m saddened in the half an hour it took for me to get on the last bus home that we lost. =/ From what he relayed to me, our offense was doing extremely well, but neither team’s defense was there. Now I just got home so I don’t know everything that went on, but it’s saddening to hear that basically us giving up that special teams play could have been the deciding factor… there was always(though small) possibility that we could have stopped them before the half. sighs I just wish I still lived in Jacksonville. All I know is I’d start saving for at least two games at the beginning of the year just to go. Who knows… maybe we’ll be lucky and beat the pats and browns and just maybe get into the playoffs.

Where did I say that?
I said he played inconsistently, like always. He threw beautiful passes all game except 5-7 terrible passes that were way overthrown. The offense put 30+ points on the board so obviously you can’t just blame him, but he definitely played inconsistently. I appreciate the comment though.
by SoCalStites on Dec 17, 2009 11:44 PM EST up reply actions 0 recs
Garrard gave us the kind of effort you can expect from a decent and competent but not elite QB. Unfortunately, he will always look bad against a Peyton Freaking Manning.
Nelson would look bad playing against Mark “Uncle Fat Trains” Mangino (the ex-Kansas head coach).

I'm a Colts Fan...
Just want to let you Jag fans know that the Jags played a great game. The Indy offense was on fire. And the Indy defense has been very good all year, and the Jags took it apart. If th Jags didn’t get the illegal formation penalty on the late drive where the TE caught the 19 yard pass, they may very well have won the game.
I thought that the Indy defense was an embarrassment. Yeah, Freeney and Mathis didn’t play much until the end, but the Colt defense didn’t do a very good job tonight. They should be embarrassed, and the Jags should be proud that the two rookie tackles did a great job all night long.
I think you guys have a good chance against the Patriots, and you’ll definitely beat Cleveland. Hopefully, the other 7-6 teams will drop one along the way so that the Jags can get in. Actually, I hope that the Ravens win out: I really don’t want the Colts to have to face the Jags again. This was way to close. Peace.
