New Here

Hey guys. I am new here (this is my first post) but I just wanted to say that I look forward to chatting it up with you guys about the Jags! It was a sad day yesterday when I learned that Freddy T was getting cut. I thought for sure that he would retire here. Hopefully, they can negotiate with him and bring him back at a cheaper cost.

Being new here, I don't know too much about the ins-and-outs of BCC. I am just curious as to what you all think about Vic and his column? I don't want to start saying things that will piss off the regulars here! :)

I think we have a universally high view of vic here.

I did an in-depth bio of the guys career, and Chris got a long interview with him. I think they are located in the Better Know Tab on the side…

Just out of curiosity, have you been reading for awhile and just decided to comment, or did you just recently stumble upon us. If so, please do tell how.

Hi Justin

As far as Vic goes, I think it’s clear that he is a voice of reason and experience. To discount what he says would probably be a mistake. However, like anyone else, Vic is at times fallible. No one is perfect, especially not in the imprecise field of sportswriting.

Welcome to Big Cat Country. The guys here do a great job of giving Jag fans something to read during the offseason, and especially during the season.

Unfortunately, the truth only comes out game-by-game.

I guess

Vic is also very sad to see Fred go(just see today’sAsk Vic and specialy his answer to Marvin and his past articles about Fred). He likes running backs veery much, who also a good guy to talk with. But he is a professional, don’t wait from here any sentimental things.
And about you, welcome here from me too. It was not so long (only 1 month, that I join this comunity, and that was one of my best decesions in the last years. good community, very good articles, Jaguars 24/7, what else can a Jags fan wish?

I was hoping you guys weren’t some of the yahoos that write him and tell him how stupid he is. I read him every day and have done so for the past couple of years. The man is a true talent!

And Collin, I just stumbled onto SB Nation back in January, and just found the BCC a couple of days ago. So, I guess you could say that I am absolutely brand new to the community.
