Just some draft and FA observations
I think that a lot of people are assuming/hoping that we get one of the top three tackles in the draft, but what if the top 3 are taken by the time we get to pick? Would you go ahead and take Oher that soon or trade back and hope that he falls to us? Maybe you would take a look at DB or best available player at the 8 spot? I've been looking at the draft order and there's a few teams that IMO will be looking hard at Matt Cassell. With Warner probably retiring or resigning with the cards this leaves Cassell as the best available QB on the market. I can see the Lions and Cheifs deff. being interested. Maybe the Lions will trade number 20 (which would be dumb IMO) for Cassell and get their stud LT with number 1. Scott Pioli the new Cards GM formerly of NE could also use this strategy. Anyways I guess there's a number of things that could happen, just hope we don't get screwed out of a tackle!!! Excited to see how things unfold.

well....
I’d go for best available player. If there is a ‘need’ player that is rated high enough on the board, and is not a reach, then draft that guy. I like a little surprise in watching the draft anyhow.

Oher
Oher also has a top 10 grade from nearly everyone, so it would not be a reach at all, and he’d likely just about be the BAP if he’s left at the #8 spot. In fact, I’d rather see him on this team than Jason Smith. This is not a pass-first team, and a pass-block-first LT doesn’t seem like the best fit.

oher
I think we might be able to get away with trading down a little bit and having a chance for Oher, guess we’ll find out. I’d really like to see us trade down a bit.

Me too
That’s the ideal situation for me. The Jaguars trade down 4-8 spots and still come away with one of the 4 tackles.

If the top three OT are gone and Aaron Curry is available
I would take BAP if he was a real sure bet play-maker.

LB
I wouldn’t mind that USC LB, i’m not even attempting the spelling of his name. lol That is if we’ve traded down and he shows the most value at the pick. Playmaker.. So many needs so few picks haha.
