Awesome Mike Walker article.
I’m holding onto hope with him.
Unfortunately, the truth only comes out game-by-game.
watching Andre Smith run the 40 was pretty scary. i wonder if they should’ve used a Twinkie at the end of a stick, tied to the top of his head, to make him run faster… thinking he was chasing down a snack… ok, that wasn’t fair, but i know you just pictured that in your mind, didnt ya?? :-)

I was embarrassed for him
Don’t have time to write, I have to go to the gym…. yuck!!!

Man, You Sure Are
Hard on that guy about his weight. I’ve heard that he has really gotten himself down to playing weight, around 325. I personally like to have a bigger offensive line, instead of smallish, finesse line like the Colts.

im still hung up on immaturity
it bothers me to the point i have trouble even thinking if hes overweight
if the mind isnt right, what can the body do?

I Don't Think
Andre Smith is that immature. He had one incident at the combine, and one that was so tiny that no one would have known about it if it had not been for the media. The Jags would be lucky if they could trade back and get Andre Smith, if they could pull that off it would give us a great draft. If they can’t trade back, I think you could still take him, and let him play guard until Tra Thomas gets burnt out.

My tidbits
I’ve read a lot of comments this year about Garrard being a flop at the end of games. But I came across a little piece of info when reading about Cutler and his value on NFL.com: “Only Jacksonville’s David Garrard threw more passes in the fourth quarter of games than Cutler, who completed 100 of 167 passes for 1,212 yards and 11 touchdowns with just four interceptions.”
In case you didn’t already know this, that’s not a good things when you are supposed to be a running team. Looking at Garrard stats in the 4th they weren’t all that bad considering all of the situatioins he was put in. He threw for more yards, more 1st downs, more 20+ yd passes in the 4th than any other qtr.
Walter had us picking CB Mark Parsons in the 4th round. Check out this little video with his narration. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VYGnXm3zE_E&eurl=http://video.google.com/videosearch?q=Mark+Parson&rls=com.microsoft:rs1_7496f1a6168&oe=UTF-8&um=1&ie=U&feature=player_embedded
More speech pattern stuff...
As a UCLA fan I found the end of this video to be humorous. http://www.realscoop.com/content/mark-sanchez-usc-nfl-prospects/
Vic's article with Mike
is probably the best among the articles. I wish Mike, he can show this year what he can do!
Also, that Josh Freeman related article sounds interesting as well.
Plus the Tra thomas article, and the photogallery were good.
From the others I read a couple before you posted them here
Thanks Collin!

shawn nelson, te southern mississippi
