opinion from Jagnation
I was just at Jaguars .com and they have a little debate about Jay Cutler and the Jaguars trying to obtain his services and trading David Garrard. My opinion is no we don't trade for Cutler he has some baggage that we do not know about and I rate David better then him, also this trade would possible cost us draft picks which we desperately need. I believe our future quarter back is in next years draft because there are 5 or 6 good ones coming out. Jagnation your opinion please

Yeah
I would give Garrard another year to prove, that 2007 wasn’t a coincidence, without he must look always on his back (a.k.a. no another new QB selected at the 1-2 rounds this year. I trusat him, He played in a very decent level, if we see what was the state of the O-line, and to who he throw the ball. So, no for Cutler. I wouldn’t trade David for him.

I concur....
I don’t think Garrard is our problem. 2 years ago our offensive line was healthy and good and #9 did great. Last year our offensive line was decimated with injuries and Garrard was on his butt more than any other quarterback. Cutler is good but doesn’t impress me with his head or leadership. No way we make that trade.

Garrard Is Not The One To Blame
The most knocked down quarterback in the league might struggle a little when he is the most knocked down quarterback in the league. I think it also says something that he was not the most sacked, showing that even though he was knocked down a ton he got the ball out quick.

I agree...
This is ALL SPECULATION… The Jags would not part ways with David (just yet)… I am interested as to seeing what David can do for this organization…
HOWEVER, I was reading Chris Cooley’s blog and he stated that his agent had told him that there was a “possible proposed” deal that would send Jason Campbell and Chris Cooley to Cleveland, and Jay Cutler to Washington, and Brady Quinn along with two draft picks to Denver… Again, this was just on Chris Cooley’s blog…

What
are you doing reading his blog? Not that I’m blasting you for it. Just curious.

ok
who in their right mind would even fancy that trade? this is a crucial time in the Jaguar Franchise, you don’t go giving up on your #1 guy for having a bad season behind a 2nd string o-line( basically). Garrard hasnt reached his peak yet, if he gets some good targets to throw to, now that the o-line should be intact to give him more time, watchout Tenn. and Indy, the boyz in Teal could be a force!
Everybody knows when he's coming to town
They're locking the doors
And they don't make a sound
People want him dead but he won't die yet
First he's got to live
With all the things that he did
