BCC Mock Draft: With the thirty second selection, the Pittsburgh Steelers select Max Unger, Offensive lineman from Oregon
Having depth and age issues on both offensive and defensive lines, we selected Max Unger for reasons we believe to be worthy of a first round pick and to enhance our team in a myriad of positive ways in the future. With a few other linemen being considered, such as Alex Mack, William Beatty, and defensive players Jarron Gilbert and Darius Butler, we felt that our choice was still the best available player.
We feel his versatility in playing numerous positions on the offensive line, which included left tackle, guard, and center, would give us a durable and stout player for many, many years. The value of such a multi-talented player is something we could not pass on. His size, solid technique skills, toughness, and leadership qualities on and off the field have made him a superb fit with the team and the character of the Steeler’s organization.

thanks
I took to heart the portion about pretending to be the GM for the team you’re representing. I enjoyed doing this community mock draft. How about you folks out there??

I was away from my computer for the weekend. I didn’t get a team, but overall I think everyone made pretty good picks.

it is fun to get everyones feel
we have to deal with all of our opinions, and that means shutting up and understanding haha
great fun
surreal to be teal
yeah man
this was great to be a part of. Now I wonder how accurate everyone is on their picks!
Everybody knows when he's coming to town
They're locking the doors
And they don't make a sound
People want him dead but he won't die yet
First he's got to live
With all the things that he did

Nice Pick
Unger really is so versatile. He can play both guard positions, and maybe right tackle in the pros as well.
