Its good to know that Denver is looking at the Jags...
to trade up, at least the media is. http://www.denverpost.com/klis/ci_12124654 It's also comforting to hear they may be interested in 3 players and not just a QB. Also, Peter King mentions the Broncos may trade up for someone other than a QB. I hope the Denver war-room reads the papers. I'm tired of trying to figure this out, I'm glad we're under 2 weeks and counting!

Nice
Sounds good to me. An extra third would serve us well, and we could get rid of that 8th pick in no mans land. Orakpo probably wont fall to us, Raji probably will, and Sanchez might. As long as one of them does, we’ll be alright.

Raji might be the guy.
If you factor in Green Bay then it makes sense. With GB at nine and needing a big NT then Raji might just be enough to entice Denver to move up to eight to leap frog GB for Raji.
Jim Brown, Barry Sanders, Fred Taylor. Sounds about right.

I know
Here in Hungary the Broncos fans are begging for raji. maybe the Broncos fans and organization are also feels like that. Anyway. I see more and more mock drafts which are predicting the Jaguars-Broncos trade. With that and the TVC points, we get an extra 3rd round pick. I would take it!

I think you're right....
and I also think if they do trade with Denver then the Jets may trade up to twelve with the 17th to get Josh Freeman. If both Stafford and Sanchez are gone, the teams needing QB will be trading up to get Freeman like the Ravens did to get Flacco.(even though they traded down I think).

They traded..
down and then back up. They traded down to our spot in the 20’s and then back up to 17 where they selected him

I was thinking that too.
I don’t think Gene Smith would be opposed to trading back again. Don’t leave out Tampa Bay nor Washington (although WASH is picking @ 13) either one, plus the JETS might want to move up to grab Freeman.

Do you think the Byron deal changes Tampa Bay's trade appetitie?

Yes
There is no way they spend a high pick on another quarterback when they already have 4 quarterbacks on the roster right now. Luke McCown and Byron will probably be considered the most to win the job, Josh Johnson still seems raw, Brian Griese is older and is better suited as a backup.

Possibly.
I’d just hate for Tampa Bay to be the second Florida team to pass on a possible franchise QB because they just acquired Byron Leftwich.

Why wouldn't Tampa take Josh Freeman?
Everyone agrees he needs development. Byron could start a couple of years if he beats out McCown, and then they have Freeman.

Josh Johnson
Is their developmental guy. I don’t think they want two of them.

Don't forget...
that the coaching staff has changed, and all you coaches tend to want to get their guy.

I think Tampa has enough QB's now
Maybe they will take one in the later rounds, but they are not going for a QB in the 1st round. By the way many says, that until the season starts one of this 3 will be cut (Griese or Byron to be exact)

Yeah you can count Tampa out
of the trade talks, with the signing of Byron “Slow-motion” Leftwich. If they do trade up, it’ll be to beef up their pass protection for him, Lord knows they’ll need it.

Actually their
pass pro isn’t all that bad, but they could still use a little more help. I imagine they are looking at some DL. Raji/Ayers’etc….
