Could a team like the Giants trade up?
For a receiver. Now that they have released Plaxico Burress, would the Giants be willing to trade up for Crabtree if he is still available at #8? I'm more convinced now that Stafford and Sanchez will probably be gone. Since it is the common belief that the Jags are high on Sanchez, whether it is a smokescreen or not, is it probable that one of teams looking to draft a QB will trade up in front of the Jags? Also, if both QB's are gone, does this increase the chances that one of the top rated linemen drop to #8?

i dont think
that they will, unless they have “their” guy that they just burn to have on their team,
which i doubt.
its a deep class so im sure theyre not worried, plus they run and stop it so wr’s arent their mojo (no pun)
good ucommon idea tho

Not The Giants Philosophy
It’s been a long time since the Giants have taken a receiver in the first round, much less trade up to get one. They might just take Kenny Britt or Hakeem Nicks, that is if they take a receiver. Giants always grab linemen in the first, and hit it big on skill players later.
