Dillard compared to Holt  Mini-Camp

In this series of pictures Jarett Dilard and Torry Holt are running the same routes without any coverage. You are seeing it just as the coaches are seeing it on film. When asked which reciever resembles himself, Torry said Dillard did. Watch and you will see that Torry is still the master of coming out of the break. Dillard doesn't quite have the body control Torry does. However, you can see they are big brother little brother combinations. Torry doesn't have any interest in developing younger players, just in keeping them on the bench. (I love that attitude). Dillard can go to school just watching and learning. Let me know what you think. - Terry

Hey Terry, when were you at the Mini-Camp?

Just Friday or did you make it to either of Saturday practices?

Both Friday and Saturday afternoon

The pics are from Saturday afternoon. I think they show a lot of what the coaches are excited about.

Nice.

I was right at the middle between the two bleacher sections leaning on the front rickety fence. There was some d-bag Pats fan that wouldn’t shut up conversing with others at my 7 ‘o clock. At my 4 was this woman with an insanely ghetto booty in a purple dress. I’m not into that, but it was just straight superhuman. Kind of like that Indian girl with eight limbs. I wanted to get my picture taken with it.

Kbot vs The Superhuman Ghetto Booty

Sounds like a title fight to me…

But soon or late the man who wins
Is the one who thinks he can.

What Class

Sounds like a heavyweight bout to me.

I seriously stopped mid sentence.

Something like: “Hey look, why is Groves wearing 54? Is he going to be playing some line…holy shit, is that thing real?”
I was shaken to the core of my existence.

tory

said that he is not going to mentore them till about half way through the season cuz he views them as a thret to steal his job. that has got to pump you up knowing that tory holt looks at you as a thret to take his job i would be pumped if i was dillard.

I think Dillard and Thomas will get playing time this season

Mike Walker might have to take a seat. Troy Williamson might have to find a job.

Write that down. (Van Wilder quote, for sure)

thats

a bold statment, troy and mike w. will be hard to beat out. i dont think that mike w. will be beat out but thats just what i think. dillard will play and make an impact but i dont think mike t. will be worth much.

If they can get open and catch the ball, and stay healthy, they'll be doing

alot more than what our receivers did the last 3 years…..which isn’t much.

true

i agree with every word i wont are rookies to beat them out but i just dont know if it can happen plus mike w. is as haelthy as ever so he will be the hardest to beat out by far.

I think

at least 2 of the new guys will get some playing time. But Mike Walker?
Walker easily has the most upside of all the wideouts. His only knock is his health.

Why Are Yall

Now thinking that Thomas and Dilliard can overthrow Walker? They are rookies who have not played an NFL down yet. Walker is in for a break out season. Hes already had his breakout game.

you might want to write that down

Everybody knows when he's coming to town
They're locking the doors
And they don't make a sound
People want him dead but he won't die yet
First he's got to live
With all the things that he did

I think Mike Walker

Only sits if he’s unhealthy. If he can stay healthy and play a full season he could be a dynamic target opposite Holt.
