it bothers me how they take quotes from the videos we see on jags.com and write articles based off of them that are no better than the articles on here.

This is how they get payed. I’m not jealous, i’m simply befuddled.

It is simple

There is a sucker born every minute.

This site is free and we have more original content and depth of thinking than JagNation. Of course you could be like me and pay for a year of JagNation just to be sure. Trust me, this is a much more informed and engaged site.

I totally agree

I find here almost much news like in the major sport sites, if not more.
that is one of the reason why I visit BCC around one of the most often times in the whole net!

i did the month trial with a month free

-not worth it.

i could write a week of their articles in a day…..what do they do all day? do they have other jobs?

In what way Collin?

I was not aware of that. Can you explain?

They're good people.

BCC and JN have worked together from time to time, the folks who run that show are good people.

Holt still thinks he can make the Pro Bowl

Or thinks he can play at a Pro Bowl level? In Jacksonville there is a huge difference.

HAH!!!

Clever homey. Huge difference for sure.

By the way, are the Jacksonville Jaguars a college team?

by Blair72 on May 7, 2009 1:23 AM EDT up reply actions

I hate

telling people I’m a Jags fan and getting blank stares. But then again, I take pride in being a fan of our team; I like the Jags because of my own reasons, not because I’m trying to run with the rest of the crowd.

by Ewdtrey on May 7, 2009 2:01 AM EDT up reply actions

Yeah, like I'll say I'm a huge football fan

and they go, “Oh really, what team do you like?” Then I say the Jags, and….blank stare….“Oh, ok. Cool.” Then I go, “You have no idea who that is, huh?” Then, they’re like, no not really.

by Blair72 on May 7, 2009 11:55 AM EDT up reply actions

Haha

I’ve had that exact conversation many times. Then they’ll usually say, “They’re not very good are they? If they were I think I’d know who they are.”

by Adam Stites on May 7, 2009 12:06 PM EDT up reply actions

I heard Fred Taylor do an interview or something I believe

it was right after he made the Pro Bowl. He was saying how when he met people, they’d ask him what he did. He’d say he plays for the Jacksonville Jaguars, and they would respond with a, “oh, is that a college team?” That’s where I got that previous statement.

by Blair72 on May 7, 2009 12:20 PM EDT up reply actions

ha wow

yesterday i got asked if i was a panthers fan. They knew it was one of those cats

would the patriots fans ever be asked that? no

thats why i have more pride

I've always rooted for the cinderalla teams.

George Mason in the NCAA tounrey a few years ago? perfect team to root for.

by Blair72 on May 7, 2009 3:46 PM EDT up reply actions

Underdog

If I don’t care about either team, its always the underdog. Like when Auburn got snubbed from the NCAA tournament; but should have gotten in, thats a story for another day. But anyway, I rooted for Villanova the whole way, just because I love to see the upset. They got to the final four, not bad…

That was my first thought

when I read that. There is a possibility however, that with the fame he already has and some pro bowl numbers, he could overcome some of the problems of being in a small market. I think the popularity of fantasy football could also help him.

by Ewdtrey on May 7, 2009 1:55 AM EDT up reply actions

Post the numbers

and the team wins and Holt will get voted in. He just has to make a difference.
