I saw this earlier and the Wildcat is interesting...
but I don’t think your going to fool too many people into thinking MJD can chuck the rock over anyone’s front seven. Only passing play they could fake is a play I saw the Steelers make, where MJD runs to the right towards the sidelines as Garrard runs to the left towards the sidelines and then MJD throws it back to Garrard… which in turn throws it to the open deep man. That’s probably the only “pass” I’d be worried about from MJD, is back to Garrard. Miller was taking snaps though… I’d be more interested if he elaborated on how that went. MJD needs to t

teach Miller how to be more elusive and maybe the Wildcat would have a chance.

I don't know
to be honest with you, this Wildcat stuff, well it worked last year, but I’m sure this year most defeses trying to prepare for it. And if that happens, you can use it very few times effectively.
Vic also mention it in his OTA video today. We will see, how it work out for us.
Miller might can do it, also Owens as well, but I don’t think the jaguars can profit from it too much.

We know Owens can do it
That 41 yard run on the fake punt he had was basically a Wildcat.
As for us using the the Wild Jag, I think we are a perfect team for it. Why do you ask?
Well what position did we really stack ourselves at this off season? Exactly, offensive tackle. And that’s all this formation really does. It allows an extra blocker to play in the game. Not to mention I think with Garrard’s loss of weight I think he could actually provide a decent decoy. Also Zach Miller looks like a perfect candidate to run the Wild Jag.
Another reason why we should run it is if we have our running game going and the opposing defenses are stacking the box we might as well use the extra blocker.
I also know Dillard can throw the ball somewhat well, so he can probably be in on a variation of it. Kind of like the Mark Bradley to Tyler Thigpen TD pass.
I Wonder if Garrard can catch...
If hip hop is dead, then it happened the day that Dilla died.
