The Lemon has been squeezed...
http://www.jaguars.com/news/article.aspx?id=7947
Lemon played in one game and threw two passes last season after signing with the Jaguars as a free agent in February of last year. He is entering his sixth season in the NFL including stops in San Diego and Miami.

Beat me to it
Well let’s hope Garrard stays healthy all year, I would rather not see 36 year old Todd Bouman on the field.
I agree...
I just happened to be sitting here staring at jaguars.com when the story arrived… hahaha, I hate the dead zone!

i guess
the inside scoop was Lemon was sucking early in OTAs, but I had heard he’d been doing ok lately. I guess Bouman has been doing better than him all together though. maybe we’ll still bring someone else in. who knows.
I like Bouman better
I feel like Lemon was another bad move by Shack that Gene took a wait and see approach on. Well I guess he saw what he needed to see.
I like Bouman better then Lemon, but he is definitely not the answer. Here is a list of free agent QB’s, none look promising.
Brett Favre – Don’t even think about it
J.P. Losman – Wouldn’t mind him being a back up
Gus Frerotte – How old is he?
Trent Green – Retiring
Quinn Gray – UFL Bound and really really fat.
Rex Grossman – Signed with Houston
Drew Henson – Who?
Brad Johnson – Did you see him play for the Cowboys last year?
Charlie Frye – Signed with Raiders
Brooks Bollinger – Bleh
Jamie Martin – This guy is really still around?
Anyways you get the point, I’m sure there is some UFA’s that will get released soon that can come in and try out.
I'd be fine
if we signed Bollinger, Frerotte, or Losman as 3rd string

Losman
He’d be a great backup. He was never all that bad in Buffalo, he just always had a sorry ass line.
Or we could bring Vinny Testaverde back…

He's very careless with the ball
something that doesn’t go well with a rebuilding D and a run first offense.
Well There Goes My Chance At Getting A Lemon Jersey.
Boo. I’m gonna miss chanting “Squeeze!”
Jacksonville Jaguars. It's what I do.
We're all chanting Combaya, My Lord and you want Quinn Gray back? No thanks.
Jacksonville Jaguars. It's what I do.
I would
rather have Bouman than Lemons as my backup, and I don’t want Quinn Gray’s personality back in the locker room
Finally!!!!!!!!!!
Now its for sure we’ll draft a Qb next year, possibly 1st round. Rather have a guy who makes me think of Kerry Collins (Bouman) than a guy who reminds me of Congress (Lemon)

I'm also glad that
Drew Miller is gone, now my boy Cecil Newton has a better shot.

This is the chance for Paul.....
I think most of us liked what we saw from Smith coming out of Tulsa……An i think most of us agree Todd is not an answer to us anymore………….
Lets hope he can have a good Preseason, and maybe we’ll see his #12 at the Jaguars final Roster and not just in the PS……
I still don't think this means
a whole lot for Paul Smith. There is a good chance he wont be here next year if we draft a rookie high next year.
So
that must mean for him not to give up his day job

Jaguars added another QB for depth , a rookie from Ohio State named Todd Boeckman, not to be confused with Todd Bouman. They also waived Jason English and added Andy Strickland. That didn’t take long..
Boeckman wasn't that bad at Ohio State

Alright
I had wondered what had happened to that guy. He goes from throwing 25 touchdowns in 2007 and taking Ohio State to a national championship, to losing his job in like week 4 of his senior season to a freshman. He was always good in the games I watched him play in though, and he still finished the ’08 season with a 130.7 rating. Sounds like he might have a shot.

It was like
they knew what they were doing. I’ve seen alot of this common sense occur since the beginning of this year.

They picked up Tod Boeckman but...
Dont put any stock in him..there is a reason he was replaced by Terelle Pryor at Ohio State…he has a consistency problem and gets shaken easily under pressure and isnt athletic enough to avoid the rush too often.
I watched him fade away after 3 games into the season his final year here in Columbus. Dont expect much other than maybe him being a practice squad arm so they can save a little electricity not having to use the automated throwing machines.
Go Jags! Some people are like Slinky's...not really good for anything but they make you smile when pushed down the stairs.
Lemon Never Should Have Been Signed
Getting rid of the Inept DPP’s Lemon is long overdue and a good move for the Jags.
I heard the Jaguars are
trying to get the rights to Micheal Vick, so some news should happened soon. I heard that from my father who walked through the door an hour ago. i hope it isn’t true cuz i don’t want micheal vick on my team but…

Looks like...
Leftwhich isn’t doing so hot in Tampa .
The pewter reports on their twitter "(He) took many sacks, had errant throws. This guy isn’t leading the QB derby, folks."
Pro Football Talk said that McCown and Freeman are competing for the starting job. Let’s all hope he doesn’t end up back here…
Better Question
When was Leftwich ever hot? Or under the 245 pound range
