Bookies project the Jaguars over 8 W.
It's not really a projection......but....
The bookies have the jaguars heavily favored to win OVER 8 games this season.
Meanwhile the Texans are slightly favored on winning over 8
The Titans are favored to win over 9 games
And the Colts are even on winning 10 games.
There is no other division in which all of the teams are favored to go for/over .500......
The NFC East has the Redskins favored to win UNDER 8 an the other 3 going over .500.
So even the Bookies get the AFC south as one of the toughest if not the toughest of them all divisions in the NFL........

Here
First saw them in a local, then checked them at bwin (they where virtually the same), but I have had previous problems whenever I give a bwin link, so here are the ones from Betus.com
they are mostly the same, allthough here tha jags are not so heavily favored and the Texans are heavily favored…..

On the NFC East
I think the Cowboys finish below eight wins, and the Redskins get a wildcard berth. From what I hear, the Cowboys aren’t even hitting in training camp this year.
The Cowboys are my official “bust” team for 2009.

Don Banks [Resident NFL Genius at SI.com] has the Jaguars at #29[!?!] in Rankings
Things seem to be in the get-worse-before-they-get-better stage for the Jaguars, but then it’s hard to imagine what would constitute a step down from last year’s 5-11 debacle.

Don Banks is an idiot. Without Paul Zimmerman [Dr. Z] around, the quality of writing and analysis of the NFL at SI has sunk to new lows.
Thanks for pointing this out
I guess it’s easy for the national media to put down little ol’ Jacksonville. Who’s going to complain?
If you want to dumb down a site
Post a list from an “expert” and then complain about it. Posting ESPN lists, Mel Kiper lists, SI.com lists, anyones list is an exercise in mindless agitation.
The reason they publish lists is because it is easy to get reasders without doing any real work. Trust me, you won’t find a link to those lists in 3 months, only a new list which will be just as innane.

YEah, they never release the lists of all their errors..
Like the same p[eople who picked miami to stink it up, and Atlanta to struggle with a new coach and QB.
They never come back and say, you know what, I’m a idiot and a poor judge of NFL talent.

The End Is Nigh... www.infowars.com
I never understood that.
Why can’t any of these experts admit their errors? Furthermore, if they had provided some reasoning (more adequate than what is usually provided), I would think, “hey, I see where they’re coming from,” and when reality comes calling, I won’t see them as overpaid ass clowns. I guess everyone makes mistakes, so it is what it is.
You slay me :)
I won’t see them as overpaid * clowns

I read articles sometimes where the writer admits they were wrong
but your right, by and large they don’t. Theres probably a huge pride factor in that its their job to be right so when they are way wrong its like saying they suck at their job, not that they don’t deserve the criticism if they consistently get it wrong.
