Around SBN: Josh Hamilton's Unique Public Statement On His Addiction

Uche Nwaneri

So often these days NFL players get criticised for being arrogant, or self obsessed. Or just generally being thugs...

I added Uche to my facebook page around a year to two years ago, and every time i ever strike up a chat with him on the chat feature hes polite helpful & an all around good guy. Its so unbelieveable considering he was a starting lineman for the Jags for most of last year

Spoony is also pleasant but doesnt always reply

Have any of you had similar experiences with NFL players?

the players i’ve met in person during every day situations (grocery store, at my job site, etc…) have been pleasant and accomodating if i’ve asked for a quick autograph… as for online things, i’ve not received any replies to any messages or comments i’ve given… no complaints here.

I saw Rashean Mathis at Marsh Landing's driving range.

He was pleasant enough. Quiet, followed good etiquette, and never became frustrated. Best of all, he seemed indifferent to not receiving extra attention, which is something I respect.

I Saw

Clint a short time ago. I don’t usually go up and talk to players when I see them though. I kind of just let them be on their way. I did talk to Tebow one time though, real chill guy.

me too

but for value reasons. I never met him and that sucks that the big boy can’t be a proffesional man. Picks for players would be cool. I hear Detroit needs a DT…..

I like John

I’ve never met him, but I gotta say that it must get old getting approached all of the time. Also, if you’re having a bad day and a fan walks up, it’s gotta be hard at times to always be nice. You never know what his day was like, ya know?

Trade or not to trade… It’s whatever. We just needs some studly DT’s and I hope we fix that next draft.
