I don't think
he actually got surgery. He did go to some nike camp or something to work on his hand eye coordination. I know Brian Williams got some Lasik.

QB question
Why do we suddenly develop an effective passing game as soon as the (apparently crap) backup QB gets on the field? I’m only following the game on NFL.com gametracker, so I cant really see whats going on.
The OL
started getting better. And Bouman was throwing lots of short stuff, until the defense started playing some prevent.
But Cameron Wake looks good
I actually like him more than Porter coming off the edge. (I know how Porter performed last year too.)
A little of both
Monroe came in, from what I read. But they are playing better. These guys are all jumbled right now. Tra wasn’t here last year. Uche was on the left. Mo was out and played RG before, and Pashos is playing next to someone new, and the same thing goes for Meester.

Alfie hates
Garrard. Never admits to it, but he always doggs him. The on time he held on to the ball, no one got separation. Announcers said it them selves.

If we can keep me upright and do the things protection-wise, then this is going to be a great year for us.”
I didn’t think he called them out. That’s all I heard on the tellecast.
The line is always awful in the PS

The biggest positive I hope for is that the 3-4 was so negative that they scrap it
I never liked tinkering with it anyway. There simply aren’t the right players here.

Paul Smith
is terrible
he had Dillard for a first down on 4th down but threw so slow that the corner had time to come around. Then, it was off target and dillard had to reach for it. it was not a first down and dillard didn’t make it

I think we did exactly the opposite of last year’s preseason game..we were much more physical. Yes, there were some stupid penalties by our 3rd string, but all in all, it was the preseason. And fyi people, the Colts in 2006, lost all of their preseason games…and who won the SB that year???? The Lions really did themselves some good winning all their preseason games last year, didn’t they?

In the end if they can’t hold still till the ball is hiked they don’t deserve a roster spot.
