Possible RB depth
I think that we need to secure some depth behind MJD and with the recent signing of Edgerrin James who i secretly wished we were gonna sign for a one year contract and the subsequent release of TJ Duckett made me think of available veteran RB who while they may be a little long in the tooth they could very well provide what i think keeping Fred Taylor would have provided, minus the leadership.
Deuce McAllister 6'1" 232 9 yr veteran last yr played in 13 games started 6
Reuben Droughns 5'11" 213 9 yr veteran last yr played in 12 games started none ended the yr on IR
Chris Perry 6'0" 224 6 yr veteran last yr played in 13 games started 6
Tatum Bell 5'11" 213 6 yr veteran last yr played in 7 games started 3
and obviosly the countless cuts made by other teams who would come prob cheaper than thse guys but none the less food for thought. Also Lorenzo Neal could open holes for Greg jones like he did for Leron Mclain last yr in Baltimore he was cut by Oakland recently. Loius Rankin is a player i like alot in Oakland who may be headed to the PS so he could be had if they decide to keep Justin Fargas instead and if they dont i think Justin Fargas is a solid backup.

Neal
was cut recently. In any case he’s been over the hill for about a year and a half. Very overrated.

Yeah
He’s like 40 and plays fullback. Something to stay away from

Same Vaghan, greg jones, MJD, and Washington
along with jennings are fine with me, with Brock Bolin on PS

I wanted to keep Fred Taylor its the only move i disagree with
but my point is that im not sure if Greg Jones can be as effective as Leron Mclain was last year but that is my hope that he can be a bruiser in the Brandon Jacobs mold to reduce the wear and tear on MJD

Trust Me Man
We won’t be able to run 50 times a game like Baltimore did last season. Our defense isn’t good enough. We gotta score some points.

Surprisingly
That new guy Vaughn is a big bruiser. Plays pretty similarly to McClain actually.

Jennings?
Where did he go? There was so much hype about him in camp, but I can’t find any info on his status. I thought he had some sort of “strain” in the 2nd week of the preseason. Is he still sitting because of that?
