Matt Jones, Jerry Porter and now Cleo Lemon meeting with Titans.

Another Update: It looks like the Titans are having Cleo Lemon come in as well. They're really digging deep into the Jaguars dumpster. I'm guessing Reggie Williams is next?

Update: Jerry "Million per Catch" Porter is also meeting with the Titans.

Yes that's right, Matt Jones might be back in Jacksonville sooner then expected, just in a different uniform. Adam Schefter from ESPN is reporting that Matt Jones has been in contact with the Titans for the last 5 weeks and is going to work out for them tomorrow. Matt Jones agent just recently said "We're ready to go and get a deal done, and we're optimistic we will. Matt is in outstanding shape, he's ready to go, and we think Tennessee would be a great fit." Also in contact with Jones has been the Cowboys and Bears.

I don’t care that much either, but I don’t like seeing division rivals getting ex-jags. They usually give away our playbook, with that said Matt Jones probably doesn’t remember much of it.

No, Jones probably doesn’t remember any of it. However, if anything it’s a positive, because they can have our outcasts. We’re still gonna beat that…. come gameday. Thanks for the post man. I wasn’t downplaying your contribution. Just, I hate Matt Jones. I really hate Jerry Porter. Not as a person, but as players. Just let em rot on the bench.

Matt Jones!!!!!!!!

Matt Jones is REALLY a good player!!!!!! We Just didnt use him right…..He is gonna go somewhere and make us look crazy for not letting him play DIFFERENT positions on the field…..Should have been used at QB sometimes, double pass plays, shot gun roll out……..He would look really good in the Titans Offense…..I actually thought the COLTS was going to get him……..

Matt Jones was turning into an OK WR.

But that’s about all. He wasn’t anywhere near an OK QB in the NFL.

And I’ve never seen anyone with good track speed display such poor football speed in my life. Not to mention he was given a 2nd chance with the team and he blew it!

I’m hope he gets his life back together but I’m glad he’s no longer a Jaguar.

BTW: They’re most likely only looking at him because Nate Washington is expected to miss a few games.
