Around SBN: Jeremy Lin's Game-Winner Was Incredible, Worth Remembering

Darryl Smith

A lot has been made about how well Justin Durant has played so far this season which is very well deserved. But I have been surprised with the level that Darryl has played at. Against Indy he was in the same mold as Durant flying from sideline to sideline making plays. He played well yesterday also......well about as well as the rest of the team played. I just wanted to show Darryl some love to go along with the love being showed to Justin. Im very excited to see these guys along with Ingram continue to get better!!!

I think

Ingram has played well too. He’s super tenacious.

Ingrams played well also

its just that we’ve had him playing up on the TE’s more or playing outside when were in the 3-4. Smith and Durant have been able to roam more freely so naturally they are making more tackles. Like i said earlier though im just excited to watch these guys play together.

We will have the best...

DB core in the league (well I think we already do) and people will say so. Its going to be the DIS core, corny I know but what the hell

I think you are exaggerating or maybe we are not watching the same game.

Ingram and Smith have been horrible in coverage. No wonder Kurt attacked the Linebackers. Neither Ingram or Smith are good in run support or coverage. Durant is very good on the other hand.

Together though our crop of LBers is just average. Watch the replay. Kurt picks on em bad.

Ingram

has hardly been in coverage to do bad.

We've watched the same games

None of our LB’s have played well in coverage i will agree with that. Go back and watch the Colts game and you will see Darryl Smith played very well. I dont see how you can say that Durant is “very good on the other hand” becuase Durant and Smith have played the same.

I think

calling our LB’s bad in coverage because they can’t cover Dallas Clark or Anquan Boldin is like saying Randy Moss sucks because he can’t get open against Deion Sanders in his prime.

They suck...

Because they can’t cover anyone.

enough

when playing against Tim Hightower, Dallas Clark, or anyone who is extremely good at what they do, your going to suck.
