Will you feel guilty when/if the Jags leave Jacksonville?
As I sat on my flight back to California (where I currently live) after flying to Jacksonville for the sole purpose of supporting my beloved Jaguars in their home opener, I found myself in a very depressed state. Was it partially stemming from the performance of the Jaguars play against the Cardinals? Yes. But almost all of my negative feelings came from something other than the actual Jaguars organization.
The so called “fan base” of the Jaguars is what really pisses me off. Although I realize completely the impact and hurt that comes along with being a passionate fan of the Jaguars and sitting through last Sunday’s game, there is no excuse for the lack of attendance I witnessed.
Losing is hard to accept because we all put so much pride into the team and their success. But lets grow up a little here and face reality. This is the NFL. This is the NFL in Jacksonville Florida, one of 32 towns in our country to have a franchise, and the one of 32 towns that is now being laughed at and criticized harshly for not even coming close to filling the seats in our own stadium. NFL teams lose games. All of them have hard seasons and that's what makes it so great when your team turns it around and starts winning.
What I fear is going to happen sooner rather than later is we will lose the Jaguars. What do we have that would make us think otherwise? At this point it would take a miracle, and this fan base doesn’t seem capable of providing a miracle right now. If that happens, it would most definitely be the end of professional football in Jacksonville. It would also most definitely break about 25,000 hardcore Jags fan’s hearts, but would it break more than that?
Even though I no longer live in North Florida, it’s where I plan on ending up and everyday I pray that the Jaguars will still be there when I come back. In the meantime, I will own two season tickets in Section 245 for as long as the team is in Jacksonville, despite me living over 3,000 miles away. My reasoning: I will never have myself to blame for this team leaving. I'll always know I did everything I possibly could and it wasn't my fault that they left.
What I want Jacksonville and the surrounding area to do is think real hard about what it would be like if we lost the Jaguars. What impact would it make on your personal life? Are you going to live comfortably knowing that you didn’t do all you could do to keep them here? Are you going to feel guilty about it?
This is our one chance to prove the NFL made the right decision back in 1993 to award a team to Jacksonville. No more excuses. They mean nothing at this point. It’s time to buy Jacksonville Jaguar tickets and fill that stadium. Please do your part people. Once it's gone, it ain't coming back.
This is our "crunch time."

Everybody should read "Ask Vic" today.
Read the numbers on winning percentages, and realize the Jaguars really arent doing that bad. I just dont understand why Jacksonville cannot produce a more loyal fan base. The constant moaning about we want a winning team is complete nonsense. If this team is not good enough for Jacksonville, thenno team is good enough for Jacksonville. I no longer live in Jax. I pay for Sunday ticket and watch the Jaguars play every Sunday. I wish I could be at the stadium but sadly I cannot. Maybe my opinion doesnt matter anyway. But I will be a very sad football fan if the Jaguars are forced to leave Jacksonville because its citizens decided they did not want them there.

I hear you
I live in Niagara Falls Canada and I also have the Sunday ticket so I can watch the games. I would kill to live in Jacksonville and get to go to their games every season. Oh and the real kick ass thing is that I heard Garrard is telling people on twitter etc where he will be to give FREE tickets, like come on man, I’d be there in a second, and not for the tickets but to see our QB. I’ll be extremely saddened and pissed off if the Jaguars move out of Jacksonville.

Garrard is still useful to us
As much as i hate anti-capitalist why don’t the millionaires buy tickets to lift blackouts, i’m glad he’s doing this.

I think
I would be very sad to see the Jags leave Jacksonville.
And I give you another perspective that might fire up people. The Florida-Georgia game contract extended today until 2016.
If the Jaguars lose the Jaguars, the “jack” cost to keep in shape will not mach how many times it will be used, it will start to decline, and the city will lose even that game as well.
Well writen article. Maybe it should frontpaged. Not just ihere at BCC

There's nothing more frustrating
then sitting home and watching the game on Sunday Ticket, where you see thousands of empty seats knowing that you have no NFL football near you and have to fly 2,500 miles to see the Jags.

If the jaguars leave Jacksonville... I may hang up my love for all things NFL... seriously
If the Jags leave jacksonville, I’m not sure I would remain a fan of the LA JAGS or London Jags… I just might lose interest in the NFL altogether… I’m not sure…
One thing is for sure, I’m not moving to Jacksonville after I get my doctorate if the JAgs arent’ there… period…
Ppl need to relize what a draw having an nfl team is to a city…

Exactly how I feel.
I couldn’t have said it better myself. I may move myself. I love Jacksonville, but it would be heartbreaking to lose the team.

Same for me
A big part of my motivation to move home eventually is to have going to Jags games to look forward to. If they aren’t there, I don’t know what I’d have to move back for.

I won't feel bad because....
- - I bought tickets when I lived in Jacksonville and now I live in Hawaii. It’s out of my hands.
- - It’s Wayne’s hard earned money and we’re treating him like crap by placing conditions and terms on our passion for the team. “We’ll only support you if you win” is not how you say “Thanks for bringing our city, who nobody’s ever heard of, an NFL team.”
(I don’t know how to change the bullet numbering and I don’t care)
