Bouman's Out
The Jags have released Todd Bouman.

I thought Bouman would hang around until McCown learned the offense. I was wrong. Gene the Destroyer is serious about the youth movement. Can't say I'm upset or torn up about this decision; Bouman was a decent backup a few years ago, but he's definately hit a wall.
I'm still thinking they're not done adding; I can see them adding one more young qb when this is all said and done.

No..
I think he is serious about talent. Bouman is and has always been awful. It is amazing he has even been in the league for 12 years.

I think
McCown will still be an upgrade even without the time to learn the offense. Not to mention the fact that we would have to cut someone to keep Bouman. I would have a hard time doing that personally.

The right cut was made
Keep people who can help you win today or tomorrow
Bouman wasn’t either.

It was a good move but
one week to learn the offense is a stretch, Hope nothing happens to David…

Bouman
The comments on Bouman are quite harsh. The preseason games I watched, Todd threw the ball better David. Don’t you agree he looked quite a bit better than Girrard the last two games. So i’m surprised he’s getting ripped on, on this post this much. Plus for a back up he had good potential. Remember him taking over for the Vikings when he was backup, when he did he set records……………….until he got hurt
